  1. If you end up selling the cylinders let me know, only of they are unported.

  3. I only replaced the one piston because it only has maybe 3 or 4 trips on it when I burned a hole in one of them. I measured the weight with no rings just the bare piston.
  4. I have a queston about piston weights. I had to replace one piston. The new one is 10 grams heavier then the old one. They are both Wisco prolite. My original piston is perfect, didnt really want to have to replace it. Is 10 gram diff on the pistons something to worring about?
  5. I got my private in 94. I have 400+ hrs. I dont fly as much as I should, most of my time is in Bonanzas. I work as an A/P at a Beech repair station for 17 years, so any questions about a Bonanza or Baron I can answer.
  6. On the taper letter, is E richer then a C?
  7. I am at 165 mains, CCL needle middle clip and 42 pilot. Its not quite right but its getting closer, I am going to try a 40 pilot and thinner needle like a CCK or CCJ. I would not even try the stock needle CGL mine was so lean it would cut out at half throttle. I have 12 port stock stroke with 33 PWK.
  8. A guy at work put a TL1000 engine in a banshee with very little frame mods. This bike is insane, 130hp and 13,000 rpm. Anyone that goes to Glamis may have seen it, its all flat black and loud as heck.

  12. What color is the tranny oil? Might have a coolant leak. Or maybe the case half is leaking?

  14. Just passing on some info about Boss intakes. I just received one and when I checked the seal between the plates there was a 1/8" gap. Turns out its not an o-ring, just a single piece thats glued in the center with ultra black RTV. One of the o-rings thats on the pro design head will fit this if needed.
  15. I would say a little premix oil in the bottom of the case is normal. I have always seen this when I take my engines apart. This is why they smoke more when you first start them up?
