  4. second gear is the weakest gear on a banshee tranny.sounds like maybe you have some teeth missing off of it.drain the fluid and see if any metal shavings come out of it before you tear it down
  5. i think a good aggresive dune port will cost you around 300-350 and thats if you are interested in getting the pistons cut as well.save your money on the vf3's and just have your stock reed cages ported unless you have the money for the vf3's.as for the cool head i would just get your stock head cc to get the compression you want.which i believe that is around $110.just check around.don't be afraid to call around and ask some builders.i know kevin can port cylinders to whatever pipes you have,which any good builder can.
  6. do a aggressive dune port that away you will have no questions about keeping in front of all your buddy's.not that much in price difference.
  7. there is a blaster that runs at the local dirt drags that i run at that has his motor done by flotek.that blaster runs very well.haven't seen any banshee's that is done by flotek but if there anything like the blaster i'd say he does good work.
  8. had a buddy do the samething at the track one weekend and i managed to get a allen wrench that was a little bigger then the hole in the jet tapped down in it and it came right out.it wasn't that tight.i would try a easy out think you will beable to get it.
  9. boring is just cutting the sleeve larger to put in a bigger piston.boring is not going to give you that much more power at all,you just do that to freshing up the cylinder. if you want to make a nice dune bike get you a set of pipes which i would say shearer small bore in frames(if you already don't have aftermarket pipes)and a nice aggressive dune port job.kevin from herrjugsracing does my port work on my 4mill drag banshee and also a buddy got his aggressive dune port done buy him and his runs great.there are many builders out there just shop around and call them and get prices.
  10. did you put a easy pull clutch perch and lever on it or just a stock one.also put 3 stock springs on the clutch that will help

  12. i'd like to see someone come out with a calender with chicks and banshee's or is there somebody out there that is making them and i just haven't found them.think that would be the shit!

  15. i'd would say try the bigger pilots or try adjusting the air fuel screw to riching it up and see what it does
  16. they wiil not fit without cutting the inside of them out with a die grinder i believe.just get a set of upp boots they are not to bad in price
  17. make sure your clutch lever has alittle play before it pulls the cable
  18. if all you had done with the port work is the intake then your jetting will not change much with that.you need to get that exhaust opened up to notice anything.for the pilots. would be safe to run just the stock ones.we are running stock pilots on a aggressive dune port.jetting is weird sometimes i would start with 320 mains and you will probly go down from there but that would be safe.
  19. i'd say that your shifter star has been turned down and the lobe that the wheel sets in for neutral does not have much of a notch to set in now.thats my guess
  20. its hard to say what his setup is but it does run well.if i had to say it has a set of aftermarket cylinders and stroker
  21. i can see the pic real good but looks to be the way your holding it is the way it goes.just make sure the the ring around the cylinder sleeve(on the gasket) should be bubbled upwards when its laying on the cylinders
  22. i agree save your money for port work.i put 34's on a mild ported motor and it sucked no bottom end and really no different on top
  23. rudys overrides work great but last time i talked to him he wasn't doing dunables.maybe he is now
  24. when i sent mine to jeff he was sending them to wcr but not sure if he still does.mine from wcr works awesome and for the price you can't beat it.its a 1-5 neutral down dunable and i have ran it all season with no problems.here is there number 863-439-2607
