  1. i thought he did the worm holes on the aggressive dune port but i forgot that is something else he can do to them but its alittle more to have them done
  2. onlya2stroke here is a post in images of kevins dune port its not the aggressive one though http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83909 and here is some vid of me at the local dirt drags that was posted in the video forum. my motor is a 4mil drag port by kevin http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83441 i am in the left lane both times
  3. i'll have to say it again,go with kevin herr. great all the way around
  4. if you don't feel like posting everything i am sure it wouldn't take long to post the aftermarket or modded parts that are on the bike.we all know what is factory.xxmelt thanx again for the crank its running great
  5. Jeff from F.A.S.T sells pistons cheap and also you can find them for a good price on ebay
  6. no. as said the cases being machined just gives the rod room to clear.no matter what you have to run a spacer plate or have your head cut
  7. i have never heard of machining the cases for a 4mil crank. maybe porting them.if you have seen the head i guess you have had it off, check and see if the piston comes out of the cylinder any when its at tdc.should be around 2mm also make sure it doesn't have a spacer plate on bottom or top of the cylinder.it should have one or they other.piston out of cylinder or spacer plate
  8. get ahold of kevin at herrjugsracing.com he will give you a good idea on hp numbers on stock stroke and stroker motors.everybody will say different but kevin is a good honest guy.
  9. it all depends on what kind of riding you do.if you like drag racing then do a 4mil long rod but you have to have your cylinders done for it to make it worth wild and also different pistons and have the head cut for clearance.if do alot of trail riding and so on just buy another stock crank that is welded or that is in good shape and have it welded.you could spend the extra money to buy a new stock stroke hotrod crank but i wouldn't cause sooner or later you will probly want to be faster and get a stroker crank.its all in what kind of riding you do
  10. does anybody have any i can't find it anywhere for a banshee
  11. if you are doing the head save alittl money and just get your stock head milled or get it redomed.you can have it redomed for around 110$ or milled for around 35$
  12. thats what i say but its up to you.i have seen clutch baskets fly apart and go through the crank seal and in to the motor and screw the cylinders up.those cylinders you just got back from kevin don't think you want to screw them up.but not saying that would happen but there's always that chance
  13. if you are unsure don't use it. you can get a new one from jeff at F.A.S.T for like 30 i think its pretty cheap
  14. lol.its all your fault.now i don't want to take them off :verymad:
  15. i agree with RoostRocket. hit kevin up i know first hand he does great work and great turn around time.Go with the aggressive dune port, it rips.
  16. i will tell you how cool of a guy kevin is. i wanted to switch my banshee over to alky for a new track that we was running this weekend and to switch my 34pj's over i couldn't switch them back to run c12 at the local track. i called kevin to talk to him and he offered to send me his alky carbs to me to run and for me to send them back to him when i was done with them.the only thing that i regret is i don't want to take them damn things back off.he told me once i ran the alky i wouldn't want to go back to c12,he was right.i recommand anybody to go to kevin
  17. kevin herr at herrjugsracing.com.he is about the cheapest out there and his work is awesome. look him up on his web page he has a new one now and don't think he has his pricing on it yet,but don't be afraid to give him a call
  18. is ther many guys out there that run 4mil stock cylinder? i just got my done this yr you probly have seen in my sig who built it.kevin is not a real big name builder but he is building a good repetition fast i'd say.doesn't really matter if there is but would like to see how i run against other motors like mine.i will try my best to get out there to ride with you guys but can't promise that it will be this yr.
  19. dajogejr if you would come to bbdr and run you probly wouldn't ever come back cause the track plan sucks.not to say you would or wouldn't win but the bigger motor seem to not run very well there.but if you do decide to come would be great we need a couple new racers
  20. if you know somebody that has a lathe and a shifter drum laying around you can just bolt you star on the drum and clamp the drum in the lathe and turn it down, but you have to use a bit that will cut hardened metal like carbide or diamond.Jeff from F.A.S.T sells them already done. probly would just be as easy to get one already done.
  21. i run with brad at the local track and the bike has came along way.i'm not saying that it would run in the 3's right at first but with alittle practice and tuning think it could be done.
  22. rudy does great work i run with some of his motors at the local track. check kevin out at herrjugsracing. i run his motors and they fly.he does awesome work, has good prices and just a great guy to deal with.
  23. the guys doing the porting will beable to tell you what you need but i say just go to 340 mains and keep everything else the same if you would like you could put a 30 pilot in but the 25 will work just fine. this is all if you are running the stock carbs.
  24. guess you need a set so you can keep up with me at the tomahawk race.lol
  25. what color wire you check
