  1. I know you guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but I've always been a big fan of the pure sport bandits. Yes, they are heavy as a tank and hard as wedding dick, but they seem to last quite a while, and I've never had any problems with hooking up with them.
  2. Why hasn't this one been stickied yet?
  3. As nice as the weather has been the past couple of days, I would love to come out there this weekend, but my weekend is just way too short to pull it off.
  4. I've done repos for used car lots before, and while most places will not call you in advance, there are a few that will. I actually worked for one place that required you to ask the person for payment in-person before asking them to remove their belongings from the car so you could repo it. I kept that job for all of one day. I would hate to be the guy that has to repo quads though, because when you're doing repo's you can't touch anything that is locked up, or anything that would require you to move another vehicle to get to. The best thing you can probably do is gather all your paperwork and make a trip to the bank.
  5. 29 here. I don't think you can really set a certain age as "too old to ride". As long as the body can handle it you're good to go.
  6. I'd like to see either Jr or Stewart win it this year. Don't be suprised though if Michael Waltrip makes a really good run even though he's gonna be starting at the back of the pack.
  7. They only made the TRX 250R for four years, 86-89
  8. I think a really big part of why guys are coming out of the woodwork to be that baby's daddy, is because that is now probably one of the richest 5 month olds on the planet.
  9. She was a dumbass and pretty much a worthless individual, but I'd have hit it. Hell, if the body's still warm, I'd probably still hit it. Sure she's just gonna lay there, but it wouldn't be the first time I've had a girl just lay there.
  10. You can buy fender support brackets for them here http://modquad.com/store/search_results.as...mp;txtCatName=2 I had a set that I was using till I decided to hack my rears and they did a pretty decent job. I would let you have them, but I don't have any clue where the hell they are now. actually, i just saw that cascade has the same ones for about a buck and a half less. http://cascadeinnovations.net/
  11. It seems that we pretty much all agree that prince sucked as halftime entertainment, so here's my question. Who would you suggest they should have gotten instead? Keep in mind that it's gotta be someone that will have no problem keeping it PG. It's also gotta be someone that appeals to the majority of superbowl viewers. You also don't want someone that pretty much plays county fairs and shopping malls. Would they have been better off getting someone like U2 (even though I can't stand them), or some of the newer country singers?
  12. That has got to be the worst half time show I've ever seen. You really gotta wonder what they were thinking when they booked him for that.
  13. K&T performance also sells the lockups and the covers, and I'm hearing that they have a better price on them than direct drive. Here is their website http://www.ktperformance.com/home.asp
  14. For $50,000 I'm gonna be pissed if I have to do anything to it so that it will scream.
  15. Late winter or early spring is the best time to sell one. The weather is starting to warm up, and people have tax money to spend.
  16. I'm just guessing here, but i think its because there are still alot of people out there, that when they hear someone talking about atv's they still think of the big 4x4 utility quads.
  17. I guess it all depends on how long you typically keep a vehicle. For someone that trades vehicles every 2 or 3 years, it would be a pretty good deal, because you get a much lower payment than you would if you bought the vehicle out right. No, you won't build any equity in that vehicle, but if you are trading them off every 2 or 3 years, you usually don't have much more into the car than what the trade-in value is anyhow. As long as you don't go over the specified mileage, it's not that bad of a deal.
  18. What tires are you running? That may be alot of your problem right there
  19. From what I can tell, everybody did a pretty good job of taking care of and respecting this track. All that the owners really asked was that you keep it on the track, and don't go playing in the rest of the field that the track was in. I think the main reason they shut it down was just because the track needed alot of work, and they really didn't feel like messing with it.
  20. I'm pretty sure the stock bore is 64mm. Not sure on the stroke
  21. One tip I've always used for putting seat cover on, is to throw it in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes to warm it up a little, and make it easier to work with.
  22. We used to have a place like that around here. There was an old mx track, and the owner of the track lived right next door. If you wanted to ride, there was a coffee can, a key, and a waiver on the front porch of the house. You just tossed $5 in the can, signed the waiver, then took the key and rode all day. when you got done, just put the key back when you got it. It was all done on honor system. It has closed down in the last year or two, but it was really cool while it lasted, which was for alot of years.
  23. That thing might be pretty cool, as long as it's fairly affordable. No way in hell am I gonna pay $50,000 for a street legal quad
  24. I'm not 100% sure, but I was thinking that someone had said that you can use them with the dynatech ignition systems.
  25. The last top end rebuild I did was a little closer to $200 for pistons, machine work, and gaskets. That still isn't too bad.
