  1. Do you have the stock axle bearing carrier, what condition is it in, and how much you want for it?
  2. Basically they aren't symmetrical to accomodate for having a kick starter on one side.
  3. I got you a better explanation from Eric Gorr's website.
  4. Powervalves are basically an exhaust valve that is actuated using either electricity or vacuum, since the banshee has no cam to run the valve. That's the best description of it I can give you, if someone else can do better, please feel free to jump in and do so.
  5. These belts may help out with keeping your back from hurting, but alot of health experts will tell you that they are actually worse for your back in the long run. The reason for this being that the muscles in your back are relying too much on the belt, and are not doing as much work. This causes the back muscles to get weak, and leaves you more vunerable to back injuries in the future.
  6. From what I've seen and heard, the sand stars are a very good tire. I don't run them, simply because of the fact that I prefer to run the straight paddles over the V's. I think if I was going to go with a set of V paddles though, those are probably the ones I would go with.
  7. The bike looks very clean, and the suspension on it is very nice. There's no way in hell it's going to sell for 12k though. In all honesty, you probably won't even get the original sticker price out of it. It's nothing against the bike, it's just that most people aren't willing to pay that much for something like that, especially one with a basically stock motor.
  8. What day, and 1:00 in what time zone?
  9. Usually on those, you get what you pay for. From what I've seen so far, if you want a decent looking polished grill at a fairly cheap price, check out modquad.com or sharkracing.biz If you want a really nice looking grill, and are willing to pay a little more, check out what cascadeinnovations.net has to offer.
  10. I think the best way I've ever heard it described, is that a banshee isn't a ride, it's an experience. They are pretty tame if you just putt them around, but once you hit the powerband, you better hold onto your ass. I let a friend ride mine around on the street a while back. When he first rode it he took it pretty easy and wasn't too terribly impressed. I finally got him to really get into, and get into the powerband. By the time he hit third gear he was already trying to figure out how he was going to talk his wife into letting him buy one. A banshee can be made to be a decent trail bike, but there are much better bikes out there for that. When it comes to the sand though, you will not find a better bike. As far as the cost goes, if you can resist the temptation to buy a bunch of goodies for it, it really isn't that bad. Chances are though, that it won't happen. Bone stock banshees are kinda like bigfoot and the loch ness monster. There are some people that really do believe they exist, but nobody has really ever seen them.
  11. Chris, 28 From Fayetteville, Arkansas here. I've got about a 4 and half hour drive to LS. I'm sorry, but if someone called my shee "cute" I'd have to pimpslap them unless I'm trying to get in their pants. There are alot of words to describe it, but "cute" is NOT what I was going for when I built the damn thing.
  12. I'm just curious, but couldn't you have just went to your local Home Depot, and asked someone there?
  13. Best place I've found is RMATV.
  14. Just go over there and beat on the neighbor's door real loud. Those french bastards will surrender to you and move out of the neighborhood before you know what happened.
  15. If I'm not mistaken, sand city camp is the campsites just outside the park on the north side of the main (south) campground. It sounds like all the stuff will be going on behind the Oasis, or whatever the hell they are calling that little parts shop/gas station now.
  16. Several pictures of that bike and a few other's on HS custom's website. Here's the address. http://www.hscustoms.com/hshome.html
  17. I've bought some stuff from cascade in the past. The customer service has always been pretty good. The stuff can be a little pricey, but it has always been top notch stuff.
  18. Here's a link to some of Eric Gorr's books. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-h...rds=eric%20gorr
  19. Those shark teeth bumpers are one of those things that the first time I saw it, I thought that it looked ok, but the more I see them, the more they look like shit.
  20. The fullbores are by far the best looking plastics out there, but they are a little pricey. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.do has them for $305 for the front, and $266 on the rear.
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

  23. You are 58% extreme You are more extreme than 99% of other users Does this mean I been a bad boy?
  24. Not only will it last longer, but they generally have a better resale value also.
  25. If you're going to be hitting muddy trails, you're gonna end up covered in mud regardless of if you cut them or not. I would say that it all depends on how you prefer it to look.
