  1. Another 927 @ 32:1 here with no problems........ yet!
  2. My guess is that you will need bigger jets when you get your jugs ported. As for what fmf recommends, my fatties came with 260 main jets and Im running 340's right now and my jugs are stock. Pretty far from what they recommend. Whom ever you get porting from should be able to suggest what kind of jets to start off with. Temp and elevation are also factors to figure in on your jetting.
  3. Yessir, yessir, you just typed the words right outta my mouth. Make it a family outing, gotta make sure Bill and Chelsie are there too.
  4. Where in the world are you located?
  5. U say you have (2) swing-arm skid plates? What kind and how much?
  6. You must have never worn a really good pair while being outside on a really bright assed day. They can really save ur eyes, man. Good luck sellin these. Bump.
  7. You mean the transmission, right? I sure hope so. I'd be leary of puttin kerosene in my banshee and runnin it with that shit in there.
  8. Could be the springs. You did say that you changed the position of your needles. Unscrew ur carb tops off again and make sure your springs arent in a bind. I've been there and done that. Anyhoo, sounds like your pleased with the shearers? Give me some insight on how you like em. Give some pros and cons.
  9. Maxima MTL 75w in my tranny. I guess its good shit. My bike still shifts great and hauls arse great too.
  10. Will it rev up when in neutral? Or does it just bog down when in gear, with a load on it? If it wont rev out, while in neutral it may be a fuel or electrical problem. Like I said in my earlier post, that happened to my uncle's wheeler. It wouldnt rev out, tapped on the cdi and it came to life. I dont know what kind of little dummy sensors the hondas have on them. May be a rev limiter or some such shit on it givin you troubles.
  11. Try lightly tapping on your CDI box and see if it clears up any. I know it sounds stupid but this happend to my uncle's 4wheeler this past weekend. He's got a short short in his CDI box. May not be ur situation but worth a look.
  12. That's it! I'm fixing to cut my god damn fenders off tomorrow!
  13. Isn't the whole set up like 150 bucks. Pricey as hell IMHO. Seems like one could rig up some PVC and some elbow grease for cheaper and achieve the same results. Or hell.....even some stainless steel exhaust tubing.
  14. While riding the banshee?
  15. Hell that sounds like a deal to me...... Yeah, I might would donate bout 12 hours or so of my time and draw ya up a swing arm if you send me one that you built from my drawing.
  16. Oh shit. I forgot to mention if it was a 4x4. The late Z71's with the 5.7 (350) took the pf52. If im not mistaken it has the check valve in it. You may could try a different brand of filter, maybe as a cheap start. Try a WIX brand if you can find one at an autoparts store. I know they have the checkvalves in em. I think most NAPA's have wix filters. 7 or 8 bucks.......cheaper than a set of lifters and a camshaft, if that is ur problem
  17. That's funny. Here's another. A couple was dressed and ready to go out into the city for the evening. They turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on the phone line, covered their pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. They phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and the couple opened the front door to leave their house. The cat they had put out into the yard scoots back into the house. They don't want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird. The wife goes out to the taxi while the husband goes inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs, the man in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, the wife doesn't want the driver to know the house will be empty for the night. She explains to the taxi driver that her husband will be out soon. "He's just going upstairs to say good-bye to my Mother." A few minutes later, the husband gets into the cab. "Sorry I took so long," he says, as they drive away. "Stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. Had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so I grabbed her by the neck. Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me but it worked. I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!" The cab driver hit a parked car......
  18. What shape are the pipe clamps in? What do they look like? Would you wanna trade those Toomeys for some Fatties?
  19. Thats funny. My brother keeps tellin me that I need to put luggage racks on mine. He's a good ol'boy, but he's an idiot. Bump!!
  20. I wouldn't use any kind of fuel additive other than the oil that's supposed to be mixed with it. And I wouldnt spray anything in the carbs unless they were off of the bike and sittin on a workbench somewheres. Remember, anything that goes through the carbs on a 2 cycle engine goes thru the entire engine. Just my .02$
  21. Do you, like, not wear goggles sometimes and when you go really, really fast, your eyeballs sink in the back of your skull?
  22. 1998 suburban should have a 350 in it. What kind of oil filter are you using in it? THe old 350's take a PF35 in the ac delco brand. The late ones, I think 1988 on up take a PF1218. The 1218 has a check valve and keeps oil on top of the engine for start ups. The wrong oil filter will cause a lot of noise due to inadiquate lubricaton on the top of the motor during startup . This may be what's happening to you. I used to work in auto parts and I've seen this shit happen a lot. Not sayin it's ur situation but something to look at.
  23. Try bikebandit.com. They have all kinds of OEM stuff.
