  6. What kind of porting do you have? You may need to get rid of that 2 into 1 setup and put 2 carburetors back on there. Im waiting on a 4mil crank right now. Depending on who you get it from, it will probably cost around 500+. That's with a weld and a balance. And another 200 or so for a cool head with domes cut for the added stroke, that is if you dont go with the spacer plate. Really what it all boils down to is.... HOW DEEP IS YOUR WALLET!
  7. I remember long time ago, before all talk about rockets, it was between Toomey and CPI. I have never tried the toomeys. Came damn close to it though, before I bought my fattys. I got the fattys because they were avaliable at the time. If I had known then what I know now, I would have went CPI all the way. And yes this is a topic that has been covered many, many times. Just my fucking .02 $
  8. Yeap. The 04 got the bananna seat. Coulda had it for 7200, brand spankin new, but that is a whole complete other story. Insurance is one of those necessary evils. Gotta have it where I am. Sorry to stray off topic. Daryn, that's a sick bike you have.

  10. Where did you get your pipes? I got mines from some dude named PowerYamaha off ebay and he told me the same shit. They are built for performance not looks. If that is the case, why the hell do they put chrome on them. I thought the chrome plating was mainly for looks and not just low maintenance protection from rust. As for the problems you're having, i hadnt got a clue. But seems to me, the outlets should be the same size. A smaller opening means more restriction.
  11. Get some cpis and some K&N pod filters if you dont hit any mud holes. I'm gonna catch hell for recommending cpis for a good all around bike. Reason is, I had fattys on my bike and they are supposed to be a pretty good all around pipe. When I changed to the cpis, they gave me more power everyfreakinwhere. Maybe my bike is pipe racist and just didnt like fmfs. I dont know. Downside is, they are kinda loud and no spark arrestors but you can buy sparkys to clamp to the back of the silencers.
  12. If im not mistaken, State farm goes by the year model and engine size. That explains why the insurance is more expensive on my '06 shadow 750 than when I got a quote on a '04 CBR600 f4i that I mainly had my eyes on. PTT, isnt that what you've got? '04 yellow & black f4i?
  13. I dont know about that. He did type "no lid." I ran 330's with no lid at 100 to 200' above sea level and my bike wasnt too rich.
  14. Try some 300 main jets if you have the lid on. Take the lid off and try some 330's or 320's. 260's are what fmf usually includes with their pipes.
  15. What kinda building do you have? Does it have bathrooms and shit in it? How many square feet of space do you want? How much you looking to spend? Or do you wanna powder coat some parts to pay for it? Edit. I'm certified, but have no engineering stamp.Been doin' it for 8 years now. You need to chek any building codes that you may have in your area.

  18. On removing your parking brake, just put a block off plate on the caliper. There is a switch up by the lever. That should have been removed the first day ya'll got yer banshee. If its still there, just unplug that shit and throw it away. As for the chain length, hadnt got a clue. SOmeone else should tho.
  19. First thing to do is get rid of the stock air filter and get a clamp-on air filter set up. THen get some pipes that suit your riding style.
  20. It's an easy install. The flange should have a template to put on your airbox to cut the holes out to install it. Very easy to do.
