  1. How exactically do you "break in" a clutch? :noexpression: I thought that they were good to go as soon as you put em in.
  2. SOrry to change the subject a little, but how's your Aero doing? Still got it?
  3. Here you go. :thumb:
  4. Magic racing has one for 200 bucks. Im in the market for a new clutch perch. Its either one of these or the ASV f3. Its only money. :baseball_getlost:
  5. I got some chrome +2+1 lonestar arms secondhand from a member here and I am very content with them. They are good arms.
  6. The reeds are to a 2 cycle engine as a camshaft and valve train is to a 4 cycle engine. They act as a check valve letting in the fuel and air mixture for combustion. As for what freestyler typed, he hit the nail on the head. Get yourself some extra undershorts for when you first hit the powerband. IMHO the banshee was probably one of the closest things to getting a fucking race car right out of the box. If you still have your warrior, you may not ride it ever again when you get the banshee.
  7. How you liking that ltr450? A cool head, supposedly gives you better cooling properties along with interchangable domes in which allows you to run higher compression. A cool head, v-force reed cages, adjustable timing plate, bigger carbs along with some racing gas would probably wake your banshee up quite a bit. :baseball_w00t:
  8. This one was directed at me. Dont really need nerfs when your sitting on a bare ass frame and makin engine sounds. I will be getting some nerfs when I get my shit togeather. :baseball_w00t:
  9. 3 g's eh? Where are you located? Good looking banshee, btw.
  10. Get some kind of aftermarket clamp on filter assembly. Stock air filter is a piece of crap. There is a wire that goes up to the parking brake. Remove it from the clutch perch and trace it down the frame and just unplug it. Do a search on pipes. Tons of info there. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the BHQ.
  11. Your looking to adjust your pre load right? Clicky
  12. I'll take ya up on the offer. I gots my good ole warrior. Only thing I have to ride right now. :baseball_wibble: I'll bolt a big ass piece of plywood to the front to protect me from rocks and shit that'll be commin off your back tires. :baseball_w00t:
  13. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  14. Good news bout Bigwill. How you holding up, Stan?
  15. I had 240 mains, air screws 1.5 turns out when I was all stock with clamp on K&N with snorkle removed. Try that. :thumb: You havent messed around with your needles have you. In other words, taken the tops of the carbs off? Choke crossover tube still connected between the carbs?
  16. What kind of bumper is that? I kinda like it.
  17. That's a lot of head jobs, I mean top ends. :baseball_whistle:
  18. You could probably get by with adjusting your pre-load on your shocks, I imagine it would be really stiff though. I still strongly suggest you get some shocks ASAP when going to wider a-arms though. No offense or anything, but you really dont wanna half ass it when it comes to your suspension because you can really hurt yourself if the bottom half of your bike fucks up for any reason and you're haulin' ass down a trail somewhere.
  19. Wider a-arms are a very good investment. You will need new shocks valved for the extra width. You can run the stockers, but with more of a chance that you will bottom out. I'd strongly suggest new arms and shocks then save your money and get an axle later on down the road. This is what I did.
  20. Adjust the pre-load with some channel lock plyers.
  21. What size jets do you have in there already when you were running your FMFs? I had 340's in with my fattys and when I changed the CPIs leaned the pilot and midrange circuit a little. You may need to raise your needles a bit. After you change your pipes out, do a plug test before you go out rippin it up with the CPIs. You outta notice more power everywhere.
  22. Sent ya a pm. :baseball_w00t:
  23. I am interested in the Front bumper. Have pics of it? Can you tell what kind it is?
  24. What part of LA? How much are you looking to spend?
  25. Yeap, I agree. I think those dynojet kits are complete and utter bullshit. :: 85 bucks for 2 fuckin' needles and some 2 dollar jets. Try the 270's and do a plug test, this is of course with the lid off. You may be rich. From my experience with those stupid kits, the needles have more of a taper to them and run richer than the stockers. So you may need some smaller jets with those needles unless you put some better pipes on there. Dont know that you will see much of a performance gain with the stock pipes on though.
