  1. Anyone ever mount a water bottle to their banshee. I want to be able to carry drinking water and i hate the camel back that i have. Has anyone adapted a mountain bike cage or found something else that will secure a bottle enogh so it won't fall off during hard trail riding? I thought that rmatv used to sell a kit that mounted to the handlebars but i haven't been able to find anything.
  2. I'd be willing to buy them from you for $350 if it included shipping to 48162
  3. I am buying a new set of pipes and would like to get everyones opinion on the best pipes for al around riding conditions. Assume that any of the said pipes would have some sort of spark arrestor attached or built into the silencer if available. Let the pipe wars begin!!!
  4. Thanks for the help. I will most likely get the T-5s. But what about the DMC pipes? Heard good things about them being an all around pipe, and they sound good.
  5. So you think that i should do the pipes first. I was thinking about T-5s but never really looked into CPIs. I was torn between buyin pipes and upgrading the suspension first Any good recomendations for an oversized alum radiator. The banshee seems to run fairly hot on the trails, and after long rides at the dunes.
  6. OK i've had this banshee since i was a poor college kid. Now that i've been working and making a good living i can afford to upgrade. My question is which do i do first, i can afford to do it all at once but i would prefer do do it in increments so as to lessen the financial blow to my bank account. My '01 is completly stock I ride the dunes about 10 times a year and hit the trails the rest of the time so i want a good all around quad. Here is my list of future mods, which do i do first? Pipes & Airfilter- pipes must have spark arrestors +2 A-arms Stainless brake hoses Front shocks High capacity alum radiator Nerf bars Foot pegs Adjustable timing plate
  7. Anyone else have any for sale? I havent heard anything back from lvracer36 ...who said he had a set. I'm still interested would like to ge them as soon as possible.
  8. I've got a set of 01 plastics white front and rear for sale. I am currently still using the tank and Rad covers whith different plastics though.
  9. I'll give ya $350 shipped for everything...i'll even overnight ya a check if you want them gone that fast.
  10. Thanks. I thought that +2+1 meant that the bottom arm was +2 and the upper arm was+1. Sorry for the confusion.
  11. OK. I have read the threads regarding long travel but it still seems like a mystery to me. Is bump steer really that big of an issue? Are all extended A-arms mismatched length like +2,+1 because it seems that it would give extreme negative camber, which i'm not sure is a bad thing. What i really want to know is what type of front suspension to use to absolutly fly through the whoops. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. OK I want to buy a long travel front kit for my 2001 banshee. My question is who has the best kit for the money, I can afford expensive kits would rather not pay 1300 for one, i would be interested in a set of used ones if anyone has them for sale. Also what is the difference in handling and riding chacteristics between +2 arms and +2 +1 arms. I ride the dunes mostly but also ride the trails from time to time. If i widen the front do i need a wider axle or would wheel spacers suffice? My goal is to be able to hit the whoops at warp speed. My plan for now is to use YFZ front shocks until i save up more money for something better. Is there a difference in long trave and just extended arms? If so how do i know which are longtravel. I searched the forums for an answer to my question but the search feature doesn't appear to be working. Thanks any help would be appreciated.
  13. I want to be safer on the trails and i really like the fact that all knewer banshees have brake lights. Anyone know it is possible to retrofit a new style banshee taillight/BRAKE light onto a older banshee that only has a tailight.
  14. How much for plastics, -2 swinger sent to 48162....if anything is left!
  15. I want a set of YFZ 450 front shocks, not blown out.
