  1. Or CPIs, whichever you can find cheapest is what I'd get.
  2. I still got dibs on the front bumper and handlebar grips. :baseball_w00t:
  3. Welcome to the HQ. I too, upgraded from the warrior. Still have it as a matter of fact. Does extremely well as a beer cooler mover. Your 'shee should do well in your trails. I used to trail ride my 'shee and had a hella fun time doin' it. The 'shee can be a handfull though, in the technical stuff. :baseball_w00t:
  4. Or you could take whatever measurement you have in millimeters and divide it by 25.4. FOr example: 65mm divided by 25.4 = 2.5590551181102362204724409448819 inches. Lol
  5. Get well soon, man.
  6. When you say taking off the baffles, are you referring to the spark arresters in the silencers? I dont think it would do any harm to take em out, but I would do a plug check afterwards just to make sure.
  7. 10 mil stroker :baseball_w00t: and sounds like you may have a drag port there. You had better get yourself some extra undershorts when you ride that thing. lol Should be a heck of a difference from your Z400. Banshees are hella fun. Welcome to the BHQ.
  8. Sounds like you got a kick ass set of tires and wheels on the way. The mxr4's should hook like no tomorrow, but I dont know how well they will wear. Post up some pics when you get them installed, they should look pretty sweet.
  9. Speaking of the animals on the boat in pairs, what about those 2 fucking mosquitoes. Noah shoulda been kicked in the nuts, twice for lettin them on the boat.
  10. Sounds like an episode of "The Office."
  11. I think the smilies are cool. My 2 favorites are :yankyank: :baseballcap_blue:
  12. I dont see any harm in tryin em on the pre modded motor. I did on mine and saw a helluva difference. I had fattys though. I've read that the fattys are comparable to the toomeys with the toomeys having a little more top end. When I changed out, I left the jetting the same and it was sufficient. May not be the same in your situation as most bikes are different. PM Ellison445. He had t-5s and changed to the cpis.
  13. The rims are ITP T-9 pro series. I got the trekkers from nebraskatire.com cause they were cheap as hell. All the trekkers are 6ply too so they are kinda heavy. Do you trail ride a lot? If you do, I'd highly recommend an 8" rim if you go with a 18 in the rear. The ones I have are 10". It will ride better and you can jump around and shit without worrying about bending your rims. Just a heads up. The fronts I got with the rims from rockymountainatv.com. Rockymountain has pretty good deals when it comes to tire and wheel kits. I know how frustrating it is to decide on tire and wheel combos cause there are so many freakin options.
  14. 18-11-10 fast trekkers on ITP in the back, 21-7-10 kenda klaw on ITP in the front. Glad you like, thanks. I like the performance from the 18's. It accelerated quicker with them and they hook up really well with a small loss in top end. I'll most likely be going back to 20's once I get my engine put back together.
  15. The raptor will win. lol Edit: All these posts about if the banshee will beat this and that. I havent riden any of the new 4 stroke bikes and I'd like to know a comparison, myself. Seems like the banshee would kill just about everything, going in a straight line. But as for suspension and everything else, the new bikes look like they might would put a woopin on the stock banshee chassis and suspension.
  16. I think what's under the pistons is called lubrication. lol And whats on top of the pistons is compression. Could be wrong tho...
  17. No skid plate mounts. You have to specify that you want the skid mounts. He can put some on there though. He can also get em with the flames cut into the carrier.
  18. How much for your bumper? Just returnin the favor for a good guy. BUMP!!!
  19. I have yet to see a foam air filter last as long as a K&N. I've had some uni foam filters that have rotted and fallen apart when the K&N was still in one piece. I used some No Toil oil and cleaner when I had the foamies and it worked well. Just my .02$
  20. I would sure like to go and meet up with a few of you HQers before I die. I bet it sure is fun rippin it up all over those dunes out there.
  21. What kind of truck are you looking for? Preferably running or are you looking for a project?
  22. Just a question, but how do you get air under your pistons? This vent line in which we are talking about is for the transmission. I thought its purpose was for expansion of the tranny oil when heated from use. The transmission and crankcase are 2 separate entitys. Sounds like the "hype" in which you speak of smells like bullshit to me. I dont see any need for a filter on this vent line. But hey, I'm still learning new things about my banshee just about every day.
  23. If I am not mistaken, that vent hose that comes out of the clutch cover ties into the same vent line that comes off the back of the top engine case. Then the hose goes up the frame to under the handlebars.
  24. I'm wantin to say he told me like 450 or 500 sumthin. I'm not sure, he hasnt sent me a bill yet. You need to contact him. It's a damn good looking arm though. Edit:
  25. Contact Jeff at F.A.S.T. His screen name on here is FASTOYS. I just got a new chrome swingarm from him, still waiting on lots of other goodies and its a really nice swingarm. I believe you can get any length you want.
