  2. just wondering if everyone else got the same email. It says that the site is back to normal and is free. No more paying to view the site. And urges you to go back to viewing there site because it is FREE.
  3. i use El Monte Plating of course in El Monte, CA They do pretty good work and prices are way cheaper than here in oregon. Look them up on dex
  4. :yelrotflmao: That is some funny stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. When I had my 87 everyone was trying to get me to put a ninja 600 or 700 in it. Supposedly they will fit with little mods. And alot more power, but for practicle reasons they are a big bike. Thats why I sold mine and got a banshee instead. Best of luck.
  6. Shipped part extremely fast and was in perfect shape. Thanks again. Robert
  7. I used a 3" high speed air cutter from harbor freight and then a 4" grinder to smooth as best as possible. Then use a DA to finish sand all of the areas. Worked like a charm and was really fast. Hope this helps

  13. Yes his kits are labeled, not quite as fancy as alloyboltz. Still it seems the quality is there. Yea alloyboltz the owner died a few months back and they sold the business. John was quick to fix his mistake and wanted to know if he could do anything else for me. I would use him again.
  14. Also does anybody have pics of the downtubes they have made. forgot to ask that. I just looked up what dc. were allowed on the oregon coast and it is 93 :: . Thanks in advance
  15. I used the kit from alloyboltz on my banshee, but he is gone. I just purchased the bolt kit from "thefastenerguy" on ebay for my wifes blaster. Really nice kit and great service. I was missing the caliper bolts, called john and in a couple days I had the missing bolts. Just my .02
  16. Yea some of my friends have gotten stopped. And the T-5 will not pass, so I am thinking before I get stopped I should do something. That hush kit looks like crap, I will not use it. I figured some tip downs would change the decibils (sp) and maybe pass. i think at hors falls the dc is 94 so I am close, Just not worth the $$$$ to not be. Thanks
  17. I am wondering if I make or buy tip downs for my T-5 will it decrease the noise level. I know that the T-5 makes about 99 dc. so would using tip downs lower that.Just need to get it down a couple points, legal for oregon coast. I really down't want to use the hush kit as it is ugly. Any suggestions or ideas, I know some one else has thought about this. Let me know. THanks
  18. Is the motor still in the bike? IS the chain still on? put in gear and strap a tire so it cannot move. Then try again. Maybe some one else has a better idea.
  19. Yea, for the a arms you need two for the top and four for the bottum times 2 to replace them all. Not sure on j arms as I don't own one. Hope this helps.
  20. This seems reeally cheap if it for real. Could haul ass, but who knows. Maybe something to check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Dra...1QQcmdZViewItem
  21. Anyone happen to have the number to them. I looked up there website and it does not show a number. Also does motion pro make a braided clutch and throttle cable. Thanks
  22. Just buy 03 or newer spindles for a blaster than add the banshee hubs and calipers. For the rear you have to add tabs for the slave and resevoir, then you can use a blaster carrier 03 or newer with the blaster axle or the banshee carrier, but have to space it correctly. I think it is about an inch narrower than the blaster one. I am currently doing this to my wifes bike. also using banshee front shocks with a z400 rear shock, you have to modify the rear shock, but is worth the work. Good Luck
  23. I had an 87 and it was torque monster, however all my friends had banshee . They all made fun of the bike, but I liked it anyways. The 500 was a big bike and would get hot after a few hill runs. I didn't like that about the bike. Mine just had a trail/ dune por jobwith boysen reeds and a fmf pipe. Which sounded awesome, when I would ride through hors fall everybody would stare. I eventually sold the bike for a banshee, probably sold it too cheap. But for a dirt bike it did haul ass. Too bad they didn't have a sixth gear ::
  24. Pics and price of 95 frame to [email protected]. Thanks
  25. Sorry I should have been more specific when I asked where little sahara was. I meant what is the closest town so I could find it on the map. Thanks
