  1. Anyone have a bent frame that has a straight steering stem hoop? Let me know. Email me at izonme13@hotmail.com. thanks Robert
  2. The photobucket doesnt work. does the frame have a title and would you ship it to 97504 by greyhound? thanks Robert
  3. Definetly use TCS, I sent my shock off to works seven weeks ago. Sounds like they are sending it back today. Maybe sometime next week I will get it. Works is really slow and when I talked to TCS they told me three weeks. Just thought you should know.
  4. If you are talking about pro-tek out of california, don't waste your time. I talked to marino down there about a blaster stator cover. He told me "oh ya" I can make that. I sent him my stock stator cover and then he sent it back with a note. I cannot make this because of this and that. Anybody that make billet parts knows what the hell to do. Well he is an idiot and after wasting about three weeks of my time. I bought one from t.m. designs and had it the next day. I seriously would not buy anything from him. There parts are not the best quality. Also found out that they make parts for Modquad and vise versa. I always wondered why modquad would never make certain parts and now I know why. I won't buy from either of them now. Just thought you should know! Robert
  5. Alright so I just got the brakes on my wifes blaster. As some may know I have added the banshee brakes to it. The front and back master cylinders have rebuild kits in them and they will not build pressure. It was not this hard on my banshee to bleed them. But on this one it seems like no pressure in the masters. Anyone have an idea to make this easy on me. Something to check why it isn't working correctly. I am at ends wit, someone help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks
  6. Someone on here posted a site that you could look at manuals online and I think download them.
  7. Awhile back someone had posted a site that had the manuals for most bikes. Cannot find it now and need it to find some info out. If anyone remembers this please post it again and maybe it will get stickied this time. Thanks
  8. Thought this was very interesting, pretty good idea. Considering the 250R frame and the 4 stoke power for track racing. What do you think? http://medford.craigslist.org/rvs/313058125.html
  9. I know a guy down here in southern oregon who has racecut fullbores and they are chromed. He had them done by fullbore and it was around 2500 bucks complete. Lots of money, but it does look bitchin. Show bike and plays with it too. I have a pic of it somewhere, have to do some looking around.
  10. i like the look of individual lines, that is what i bought. Wasn't sure about it at first, but now i wouldn't trade them for a block setup now. My 2 cents
  11. I had the arms done by el monte plating in CA. They are suppose to be triple plated. At least that is what I paid for. No I am not going to cut them, but maybe you could get a cheap arm and send it to them and then cut it out for a project. If I happen to mess one up someday ( crossing my fingers ) i will then cut one apart.Robert
  12. I had my stock a arms chromed. All I did was pack as much grease as possible back in and added new boots. So far they are tight and have had no problems. As a matter of fact, I also had my wifes blaster a arms chromed. Did the same thing with them and they are tight also. A few of my friends have done this also and they have rode there bikes for years without fail. Just my 2 cents.
  13. Just make sure that if it is a vitos kit, you don't run it too hard. i have heard from several people they get hot. Not exactly sure what the problem is. that is why we are going with a stroker crank in my wifes bike eventually. Definetly find out whos 240 it is. Also the 240 is more of a top end motor, where the stroker gives more bottum end.
  14. When i was trying to get info from them, I found it better to email than call. Like you said they never did call me back. But they did email me back. Of course it was never exactly what I was asking about. i think there customer service isn't very good. So I used cascade to have my shock sent off and was cheaper. Go figure
