Just talked to cascade and he says my shock is probably blown. Thinking back, when i sat on there bike with the spring and was revalved, was nice. The bike squated just a little, then I put mine on and what the hell. It sagged alot. Anyways they told me I could bring it back for a refund if I wanted. Does the shock make that much of a difference? I thought the spring held the weight and the shock took care of the compressinon and rebound rate? Am I wrong. Thanks

When I talked to them a week or so ago, they said a spring, collar and revalve was $325. I wish I had that much right now to have it done.

I am going to take it back next weekend, it just isn't big enough for my fat butt. Thanks for the info, but I guess tcs here I come.

OK I just did as the acticle told me to. For the free sag I have 1/2 inch and for the race sag I have 5 3/4 inch. Obviously that is too much. So I guess I will have to take back the spring and get one from tcs. The one from cascade is not heavy enough right?. Thanks

I am just trying to make sure if it is close or not. At 260 I know it is alot of weight on the rear. And that it will get better when the shock is redone. Its definetly better than the stock spring. Well if you have time later firehead, if you could get me some info that would be great, I don't have any quad magazines here. Some insight would be nice. Thanks p.s. Probably be even better if I could get back to the weight I was before I got married, 215, she just cooks so good!!!!!!!!!

Well I just installed the spring from cascade and adjusted it all the way in. I set the shock to firm and sat on it. The bike in the back sunk three inches . Is this right or is this spring not heavy enough for me. What is the opinion of this. If it is wrong then I am going to take it back and get one from tcs. Will having the shock revalved take care of the shock compressing so much? Let me know so I can make some changes and get this thing together and done> Thanks

So which is better or should I say will the cascade spring work? CanI just go with whatever TCS says and get there recomendation. I am actually in portland at my sister in laws and was going to go top cascade in the morning to get the spring. So I need some info real soon, like this evening please. Thanks

what year is the headlight switch from? Thanks

You should be able to take care of everthing at once. It will all be done at the dmv. we don't have seperate places like in WA. And in oregon we have concealed weapon permits. That is what they are called. It is a class down here on saturdays and are like four hours long without shooting. real smart don't you think, lets give someone a permit to hold a gun and not teach them how to shoot it.

I called TCS today to talk about a eibach spring for my +4 swingarm. Well they tell me that not only do I need the spring, but I also need a spacer. This spacer helps hold the spring in place and that if not used it will slip off. I was told that different models may require more than one spacer to hold the spring in place. Then I called cascade and talked to them about the eibach spring they sell. They said " we have never heard of this " and we use these springs all the time on banshees. So I guess I am really confused as to do I or don't I need the spacer for the rear shock. And two who has used the eibach spring from cascade and did you have to use a spacer? i just want to know the truth about this so I can order a spring for my bike. Dam I just want to go riding. Thanks in advance, some one give me the correct answer.

I know that to register and license a vehicle in oregon is @ 150 once your done. Only cause when my wife did live in washington, that is what it cost to get oregon plates and all on hers. Portland is great when its not raining. Lots of stuff to do. My wife use to live there i will see where she says to go. OOOOHHHH ya lots of strip clubs, all on one street. Could make a real nice night of it if you wanted. I will pm you some stuff later.

2 quads in a short bed 3/4 ton pickup?
sand4ever replied to Dave I.'s topic in General Banshee Discussion
I have a friend that made a rack that goes into the side pockets. It was for a 1/2 ton shortbed and fit two banshees. It only stuck over the tailgate by about 6 inches. They sat sideways and he make it out of tubing. It wasn't that heavy as one strong person could put it on. But I also wish I would have taken a pic of it. you get the idea. -
Does anybody know what the spring rate is of the spring cascade sell for the +4. I am going to start looking for another spring and wondered what spring rate to get for my weight of 260. Also what is the inside diameter of the spring. Thanks

send pic to [email protected] and how much? Thanks

I don't think I have that much left, maybe 1/2 inch or so. Would that make much difference? Any info is good info. Thanks

Thanks for the info. The bike is a 02 with not that many hours on it. With the stock swing it is frim and rides good. then I tried the +4 on it. When I sat on the bike it just went down and is soft. that is why I wondered about just getting the spring from cascade to get by unitl I save more money to get is revalved. If anyone else has the eibach spring let me know before I buy one if they have had good luck or bad. Thanks

Ok so a little more than I figured, but can I use a eibach spring to get by for a while or not? Thanks
-
Ok so I called works and cascade, they told me to revalve and a new spring was between 350-400 bucks. Holy crap, I think I could buy a new shock for that much. What is everyone elses opinion? Can i just buy a spring from eibach to get buy for a while. Also what spring rate would I need for my wieght @ 260. Thanks

"How much do you want and how about a pic? Send to: [email protected] Thanks

Does anybody know what spring I need for the rear shock. I'am about 260 and need a heavier spring. just added a +4 swingarm and now the rear is really soft. Who and what spring to use for my weight. I will use the stock shock for now, but need a heavier spring. Does the eibach from cascade work for my wieght? Just need to get a spring this week, since my wifes bike is almost done. Thanks p.s. yes hooked on phonics didn't work for me either, title should be swingarm, duh!!!!!

I would check out planetblaster, projectblaster, atvriders, then ebay and last would be planetsand. then again you could check out craigslist in your surrounding area. Good luck.

Just to let you know chris at cp racing doesn't do machine work. He sends stuff out, to who i am not sure. Nobody in town that I know of does there own machine work. I know redline racing up in portland does and dave moore does also. Otherwise just send it out to jeff at fast. I have heard great things about him. That is where my stuff will end up going. Robert
