  1. haha yeah, thats high performace shit!
  2. check the gap between your pickup coil and flywheel...easy thing to eliminate and they will cause all kinds of headaces if loose.
  3. the arms on the blue bike are the fireball ones i told you about. here some pics:
  4. yeah i understand, i was just letting this guy know that it can be prevented. Honestly that is the least of the reasons to either not to buy or to buy trex stuff. Once he prices the pistons and gaskets and other misc. stuff for them i bet he will change his mind
  5. they will if the clearences aren't right. Ive said it a hundred times and ill say it agian, ive had my for almost 5 years now and no problem yet.
  6. i run fireball -1+2. They are great looking and fit perfect. I also drag at the dunes and i would say i have put them through a pretty good beating and they still look brand new. If you want some pics let me know i got a few.
  7. mine too!
  8. i run alcohol in my blue bike with a pingel and no filters. I have never had a problem with sand but im not saying it isn't possible. For the quick purge thing i can't help ya out, im old fashioned i guess when it comes to that and i spent no money on a fancy purge system. Ask bigboybanshee, i take my tank completely out every time and drain it! takes a while but no extra money spent and i don't mind it at all.
  9. well man its not lookin good for ya. To do it all right and make the bike run its best you would need to sleeve them,,,,or just get different cylinders, that is if you get them ported. Now i have 3 sets of cylinders that i have ran with the grooves in them. Around my area we call them wrist pin cylinders! anyways they will still run which you have probably found out but they are not worth paying someone to port them. However they will work fine to keep your bike running while you find another set.
  10. thanks for the compliment but the bikes aren't all mine. The purple one is my bros, the black one is my cousins and the blue one is mine. I just work on all them. I only have two the blue one you can see and a bone stock one but with t5's, its all black. this is it with rockets but its my rider but normally with t5's
  11. yeah i wish you would have typed it  ,,,,im confused though about the garth thing.
  12. souns like to me your problem is not in the carbs...if once you pull start it, it runs fine until it cools down its compression. If your pilot is clogged it will run shitty no matter if it is cold or warm. Now if your compression is low it will suck starting when cold but fire right up when its warm, (due to the pistons growin once hot)...so check your compression and go from there. Another thing you can check is the air gap between your flywheel and your pickup coil. It should be...i think the book calls for .018 thousandths. For your application just stick a business card in there between your firing mark on the flywheel and the pickup coil and you will be good to go on that part. If it still acts up let us know, cleaning the carbs is not a bad idea but i don't think that is your problem.
  13. they are stock....ive seen pistons with this markings on them before. If they are anything other than stock they will have your G and then also a number above them to tell how much bigger than stock they are...for example ive pulled one apart that had a G on them then abobe the G it said 1.25mm meaning it was bored to 65.25mm
  14. unless someone has cut your star where it is easier to acces nuetral from 2nd versus from 1st
  15. well he lists that they are 4/110, 4/115 which will fit a banshee and blaster if im not mistaken...i know banshee rear is 4/115 unless you have a 89 or older which is 4/156 rear(same as front) i think the blaster is 4/110....now for the fronts he says they are 4/144....unless its a misprint or i don't know what im talking about they won't fit, cause banshee front hubs are 4/156.
  16. i bought the EBC kevlar clutch when i got my bike when i was 16. It was 143 dollars and i didn't know any better then. But now im 21 and its still in my trex bike, ive only had my lockout for this past season.
  17. hey man would you consider selling just the v-force??I tried getting them from dan before you bought the whole setup but it didn't work out. Let me know im really interested in them, that is if all the pedals are in good shape.
  18. i had the same thing happen to me on my stock bike. I was in 2nd punched the trottle and it took off. Threw my ass off and i went sliding down the paved road, chewing up my pants, ass, phone, and then my palms when i tried to stop myself. And i watched my bike keep flipping and slide down the rode stuck wide open. I still don't know what caused it but it does it all the time so i put a pro design kill switch on it and just hang on!
  19. yeah i was thinkin the same, the pics on my computer are hard to see but i guess we will just have to wait until he tells us.
  20. they don't look like trex cylinders to me..
  21. or if you want to weigh a bunch and get beat by a well built banshee engine
  22. like already stated trex cost quite a bit more, and takes alot to make them run. About them eating powervalves i ran mine for the first 4 years i had it, i have blocked them off this past year but other than that no problem with them. Cubs would definitly be your smartest decision if money is an issue and you just want to bolt on and go. I like my setup, i like it when people say its old school. its not the fastest but it does suprise some people. If you got anymore questions feel free to PM me, like i said ive ran it for almost 5 years now and not about to get rid of it.
  23. Hey Jeff sounds like you need ya a bigger generator! I might know a couple people who work on them and sells them.... Hope you get back to 100% soon man, good luck.
  24. I could be wrong but on kiehen carbs i don't think that tube is replaceable.
