  1. We run Pro Design on all of our bikes, they are nice and around 30 bucks. You can get them in red, blue, black, and i think even white.
  2. its an 04 and yeah i had the right amount of oil in it. I found the problem though! Pretty agrivating but its my own fault so know i get to fix the problem. I had the tranny vent line hooked to the carb, this caused the tranny to build excessive pressure causing a crank seal to blow explaining where the excessive blow by came from :: Time to order more parts and do it again. thanks for the replys and help though.
  3. Ok I got my cousins 450r running this weekend and I have ran into a problem. To make the story short the problem i have is when you really run it somewhat hard for a few minutes it will puke about 6-8ounces of oil out the crankcase ventilation tube into the airbox :: Hopefully I can get some help here. here is what is done to it +3mm hot rods stroker makes it 471cc 13.5:1 JE piston 110 fuel Head is ported Stock valves Stock springs Stage 3 hot cams Pro circuit full exhaust i believe thats it for motor mods
  4. no like already said the rings do NOT go down that far.
  5. my guess is if he just flat ran out of gas it didn't cause this problem. However it is not good on the rings or anything else to run them out, that is how everything is lubricated. Now it could have been from that one cylinder not getting enough fuel while the other was running strong. This could have been from a clogged main, or it produced and air leak somewhere on the side that burnt up. But if he just ran out of gas it would have died and both sides should look the same.
  6. ok i well then if he ran no base spacer with 795 series pistons but had that spacer on the top of the cylinders and the pistons came flush with the plate then i would say it is a 4mill 5mm long rod. You see the 4mm stroker makes the piston go 2mm further down and 2mm further up the longer rod just takes stress of the piston and rod because it is not at near as steep of an angle like that of a shorter rod.
  7. I polish the crap out of exhaust ports and i was told to go no finer than 180 on the intakes. intake exhaust
  8. i was wrong on the part numbers maybe they changed them or i was thinking of something else....their site says the stroker is 4111, stock 4001, stock stroke long rod 4011
  9. ok you kinda lost me about the whole spacer plate at the top of the cylinders, try to explain that a little more. Now when he put it together with the 795 pistons and it came flush with the top of the cylinder did he have a plate at the bottom or top??? anything?? or just gaskets? i believe the part number for the 4mil stroker is H129 and stock stroke is H111(i think) not positive at all on the stock stroke number. Anyways if it IS a stock stroke with 5mm longer rods you have to run the 795 series pistons to put the piston back down in the cylinder and put port timings back to normal. Putting a stock piston on it would not increase stoke because it doesn't go down any furthur, it moves bottom dead center as well as top dead center so therefore not increasing stroke at all.
  10. IF he truly does have a wiseco 4mill stroker with 5mm longer rods then with the 795 series pistons the piston should come out of the jug 2mm with no plate. NOW, you say he bought the 795 series pistons and now the piston comes flush with the deck with no plate...the only thing that can mean is he has a stock stroke crank with 5mm longer rods because all the 795 series pistons do is move the wristpin up 5mm, taking up the longer rod bringing the top of the piston back down. Sounds like to me he got screwed, unless im missing something.
  11. no i think they are 2 inches narrower and 1 inch forward, some reason i can't remember
  12. yep thats what im running and thats what i paid for them also. Ill get you some pics.
  13. I run fireball -2+1 (i think that is the dimensions) on my blue bike and i like them alot, the tie rods they send are nice too
  14. no piston skirt support at all, which is never good.
  15. first of all your rings do not even go that low. BDC is a few mm above them. However im with some others i would be affraid of these, little loose bore and some piston rocking at 8000 and your gonna have some problems
  16. I sent you an email back about the first two pics...here are the others though.
  17. send pics to [email protected] ill post them up for ya
  18. run a gasket, the plate, then another gasket...and like already said make sure you check the squish.
  19. hey i got that same mechanics chair thingy  except my fatass broke one of the wheels off... my suggestion would be to stick with your CPI's since you already got them, but shearers would be cool to have, thats what im getting as soon as i get the cash, oof though.
  20. I am looking for a 4mill +5mm hotrods crank...i need it to be welded and ready to go, all good bearings please  Give me a price shipped to 64093 Thanks
  21. cool, having a wheelie bar this year im not that worried at all.
  22. oh yeah, i have not cut the other one yet...ill be running them this year though. Ill be sure to post pics when they are 100% complete and let everyone know if they held up.
  23. haha oh i see! Travis, you ready for the upcoming season yet?? I know i am, my bike isn't but i am. Ive changed a couple things here lately and stuff started showing up in the mail  im excited to see if they make a difference.
