  1. oh i see, i was thinkin you were gonna have two seperate bikes...cause i knew you sold all your stuff.
  2. WHAT?!? Travis, what the hell you puttin the 4mm in??
  3. thanks for the other compliments man, there are alot of bikes that look good with stickers but i like mine without them...anyways thanks again. Now, the only other thing i can say it just make sure your carbs are nice and clean, oh and check the air gap on your pickup coil. It shouldn't have moved but like you said anything can happen. It should be around 18 thousandths.
  4. Hey Travis, what is that funky lookin white bottle and them there fancy lookin lines for????
  5. thanks for the compliment..my cousin will like to hear that. I meant that it is a possibility that you could have a partially burnt oring in your head...letting just enough anitfreeze being burnt where it suffers down low but once revved up it doesn't bother it enough yet. I have had this happen before, once the oring burns completely it won't rev at all. Just check your water level so we can eliminate that problem.
  6. mmm well crank seal is definitely a prime canidate then. Along with base gasket, reed gasket, or intake boot.
  7. definitely sucked too much air from somewhere... Was that your left side?
  8. your not burning any water by chance are ya?
  9. it is not where the trans shifts to the next gear all by itself...you have to hit the shifter just like before but without using the clutch or letting off. much quicker and a lot more efficient!
  10. shows how much you know...dunable overrides have been proven for a while now. WCR cuts a damn good tranny and Greg is a hell of a guy to deal with in my opinion. My advice to you chills is to not listen to hex, obviously he has not had the experience with today's overrides. You will be pleased.
  11. beat me to it man..
  12. if your cylinders do not need bored to .060 i wouldn't do it. Your just wasting the life of them.
  13. Great guy here, like already stated. Definitly a man of his word. I bought some fat bar clamps from him and they look damn near brand new! I was very pleased, shipping was fast too and he provided a tracking number. I would definitly do business with him again.
  14. all the things i done when i switched to alcohol a couple years ago consists of converting the carbs(obviously), dual pingle, taking all the guts out of my gas cap and drilling the hole as big as possible, advanced the timing more, differrent compression, different plugs, different plug gap, and LOTS of alky  then the hole purgin thing.... oh and yeah i run the same mixture as i did on gas 32:1 but i had to switch to klotz supertechniplate...i used to run 100% synthetic HP2 but it doesn't mix with alky...found that out the hard way ::
  15. i don't know about either set of those cylinders...between the two the first set is better but, still kinda scary, there is no reason to make the center bar in the intake that small...and they didn't even touch the boost port above the intakes...now for the second set ...i wouldn't pay much for those at all, and to cut the pistons that much, your just askin for problems. Be carefull buying ported cylinders off ebay, unless you can contact the seller before paying.
  16. well like already said he will measure them to see but chances are he will bore them to the next size after he ports them...most bikes with stock bore and have many hours on them will get bored, its a safe insurance...unless of coarse it hardly has any hours on it, but my guess if your like any of us it doesn't
  17. :yelrotflmao:
  18. haha yeah the crank will not come out with pistons still hooked to it. A 1/4 drive 10mm socket and like a 2oz hammer works perfect for this, you don't need any special tool. Now that i think about it i have more come apart like this than i do when they just slide out.
  19. he said raise the transfers that much depending on how much you raised your exhaust..and since you didn't touch your exhaust be careful with raising the transfers too much.
  20. hey man, sorry if i/we sounded like we were critisizing but like dajogejr said we arent...just basically trying to help out. You could have still cut the roofs and not changed the timing at all, basically just run over them to make the aluminum to sleeve smoother.
  21. thats what i was referring to, they still got that stock casting..black/aluminum/sleeve blend look to them...haha that make any sense??
  22. so drain all liquids....bout 15 mins...
  23. cool...cool...well agian sweet powder coatin job.
  24. powder looks good man, super shiny  ...did you only port the intake and bottom of the transfers??
  25. PM sent
