  1. Get an aftermarket locknut. Both my shees had this problem. Cranking them down didn't help. Loctite didn't help. Locknuts are only like $25. worth it. Modquad.com
  2. In Kalifornia, it's not just Street Racing. I't Vato Loco bullshit. These aren't just dudes with cars wanting to race each other. We have so many sub-human scumbags out here. Street Racing is one venue they're attracted to. Dope sales, gang fights, vandalism and other bullshit surrounds these "racers". Not to mention, half of them can't drive for shit and end up wrecking into someones house. Fuck Rice Burners! Carbon fiber imports are for *****s!
  3. Carrier? Nice fuckin swingarm! If it was +4, i'd be dealin.
  4. STEEL?! Can anyone confirm STEEL wheels?
  5. MODQUAD! BHQ members get 10% off. They have kickass one's that comes anodized. I got a black one. It's bitchen. The stock nuts have a tendency to come loose. Both my shee's had this problem.
  6. ya. DuneBuggy.com Tell your buddy to move to the Southwest.
  7. I ride with a couple predators out at Glamis. Average. The owners love them. Not sure why they made the purchses though. 450s beat all over them in every category.
  8. The AC propegs come with big ass pegs. Might even be bigger than the IMS. Not sure about Banshee application. I've only seen them on 450s
  9. Stock springs? I don't think they will come off. not without some special work.
  10. You like the cracked look?
  11. Why?
  12. I ride with a 450. He goes through HALF the gas I do. When he had a Z400, same deal. Banshee is not the way to go if you need to go far.
  13. You can always get the vein powdercoat. Texture look without having retarded rhino line
  14. I repacked my FMFs last year. I doubt I'll ever do it again. What a fuckin pain in the ass! Use the sheet stuff if you do it. I used the yarn/hair type stuff. What a mess! What a nightmare!
  15. They have the worst website of any parts dealer I've ever seen. Complete jibberish. On the verge of retarded
  16. Gecko Rd is a paved road with areas to park right off the road. RIGHT off the road. There are a few pit toilets around. It is the most crowded area. Close to dunes but gets EXTREMELY chopped up on bigger weekends from all the big rails. The washes are on the other side of the dunes. East Side. It is a hard packed, open area where you can pick and chose where you want to camp. It is more of a "camping" experience. Can get very dusty on bigger weekends. Takes a few minutes or so of wash riding to get to the dunes. If you want to get into the whole "Quicksand" video type mood, Gecko is the place to be. Big noise, cars, parties, names. All the shit I hate at Glamis.
  17. Not even $15. Kinda ghetto leaving the carcass on there. Though I did it for 2 seasons.
  18. Any set of 35w lights will run off the stock stator. All the lights out there are just name brand housings with Phillips or GE bulbs inside. Of course, some housing are better quality than others.
  19. Clutch perch will clean up the mess of the parking brkae. I have a "Sun Line"? I think. Motion Pro makes them too. Get whatever they have in stock. I went with black. Don't waste your money on the "parking brake block off". That has to be THE biggest, most pointless waste of money for a bike.
  20. I hope it's not as gay as the iron cross one. That's ALMOST as ugly as the "jaws" bumper
  21. Shitcan the resevoir. Don't need it. I 86d both of mine
  22. This might be the shittiest poll ever!
  23. If it's your first quad. Just learn to ride it. Stock is fine at first. Once you're comfortable with it, look into pipes. Toomeys are great. Banshee's have the rep of breaking down because there are SO many of them. Lots of them have been bored out, built up, modded to hell and those are the bikes that end up with problems.
  24. Most carriers work great out there. Especially Cingular/AT&T.
