  1. Removing the TORS makes your Banshee that much simpler. It will be one less (make that 2 less) things to worry about. Your bikes engine will look a lot cleaner. You'll also be eliminating about 1-2 lbs. I have V force 2 and 3 on my '02 and '06 respectively. No big differences. Makes the powerband smooth out and power nicely. Good addition to the bike if you can afford them. The money could be spent elsewhere in the motor. But it is an easy bolt-on application.
  2. What's rain?
  3. My subscription ran out without any re-up notice. I havent started back up. I did enjoy getting it. It's cool to look through. I'm still getting Sand Sports. thats prettty lame as well. Lots of articles on cheese dick backwoods homemade dune buggies. and what the hell is with that "North of Zyzxz" bullshit?! Mindless babble.
  4. I got the Black '06. The plastics came off immediately and the Fullbores went on.
  5. This was on a stock engine. Just pipes, Vforce and 2 into 1 carb. It was overall a smoother ride.
  6. I went back to stock teeth after several years at the famous "drop a tooth" setup. After some great rides at Glamis this weekend, Stock gearing is the best! Each gear pulled and pulled. It did appear that I needed to shift a bit more in the chop. But when we hit the open bowls and rollers, I was shredding. Anyone who rides sand and is at the different sprocket setups, try stock again when you can. I'm never going back.
  7. I believe it was "BansheeHQ"
  8. Just missed me by a week. We got back yesterday. Sand is sweet! More people out there than I anticipated. Ride to China Wall was almost trackless!
  9. I was just reading an old issue this morning. that magazine pretty much sucks. ALL sand rail adds and half ass articles that have little or no real information. Some of the writers are on GlamisDunes.com. We give them shit ionce in a while. Quick example I was pissed about: Breakdown of a Drag Banshee they featured. "Pegs: aluminum, Frame: Chromoly, Swingarm: +8" . what the hell. I coulda figured that info out from the fucking picture! How bout some buidlers or fabricators or compamnies!? Their sneek peek at the YFZ450? the Yamaha press release and photot. Big deal!
  10. Ya. Somewhere around the S1 exit, there is a rental place. Saw the signs off the freeway yesterday. By the way, the sand is GREAT right now.
  11. Maybe you should have bought a book before a PowderCoat gun.
  12. "hey local stone age cannibal tribesman! Will you watch my bike? " What the fuck! The Dutch shoulda wiped those savages off the planet!
  13. Alba used to sell them I believe
  14. If you have to add a link, use another Master Link! Don't press an old link back in. I had a similar problem with a new chain and sprocket setup. I hacve 2 master Links in now. Stock Banshee rear end is shitty. Aftermarket Round housings are the way to go.
  15. TAG T2s and TAG grips are the friggen best! the "soft/medium"
  16. People out there put snorkels on Sport ATVs?
  17. You need a combination of spin and hammer. Wrench on it while giving it a tap from the other side
  18. Just get tough and deal with a camelbak. Or get a 6 pack rack.
  19. Glamis it is. Gecko rd. Run with the bad frame! It'll hold up for a few rides.
  20. few drips seems to be kinda common.
  21. On your clutch lever, you can twist out the slack on the cable. Do this while the engine is running.
  22. My buddy doesnt have his lights installed yet. Looks like a Glamis run with the B Team now.
  23. less weight, one less cable. I removed a ton of stuff for the sole benefit of getting it off. Parking brake serves me no purpose
  24. Boost bottles rock. So do parking brake block off's!
  25. here's a better question. How many ways is this question retarded?
