  1. Can you tell me what size the rear rims are...Width wise? I know they are 10 inch but don't know the width. Thanks
  2. it's .net ....not .com.......... I thought it was .com as well.
  3. Payday and I will be a paying member.
  4. In the one pic it looks like the left side of the axle is bent with the way the shee is sitting. The left front fender looks like it was messed up....pointing up and inward. Wonder if he refilled the rear brake light fluid when he refilled the boost bottle. :yelrotflmao:
  5. I think the HQ will welcome any PS members at any time.
  6. It sux to hear about PS. I went there once to see what it was all about and never was able to log in after I created an acount, so I never went back. From what I heard and read about PS on various atv websites I can't believe it took this long for people to start venturing away from PS. It's never a good thing when any amount people leave all at once when there is a change. I sense this is the beginning of the end. Like others have said in the previous threads....I hope the political, name bashing, website bashing, "Haveing to watch what you say so you don't get banned", and unnecassary bullsh*t doesn't follow. Lee is going to have his hands full for a few days keeping everything in line. With the changes Lee made maybe he knew something we didn't forsee. P.S. As far as I'm concerned...all PS people are welcome here......Welcome to the HQ....Now lets see some more drag banshee's
  7. the performance of the FMF's, Pro Circuit's, and T5's and any pipe in that catergory are so close that it all comes down to personal preference, I think. I know difference pipes work better with different mods I run PC's on my '99 and love the the perf. and sound they produce. Haven't ran FMF's or T5's so I can't say anything good or bad about them.
  8. So say i line up with a guy who has say...the same set up as I do(Cheetah P.V.) and is a mirroe image of me weigth wise and the only difference is that he has haulers and I have extremes.....who woulld win? The reason I ask is because I will be cruising and more than likely jumping and I will also line up and race someone..
  9. I WISH!!!!!!!
  10. I would say that 340 would be way right for you unless you are at like 4500 feet above sea level. You should run no bigger than a 300 or a 310. FMF's also like a bigger pilot jet(27.5)
  11. Ok so i found out today that I may be in Fallon, Nv in March and that is where Sand Mountain is. So I'm now in the market for some paddles. I'm going to be getting 22x11x10 tires(since that's what was the size used by previous owner) but do I get haulers or extremes? I will be doing some duning and of course I'll be lining up at the hill shoots/drags. Thnaks in advance.
  12. Yeah I completely misunderstood your first post :shoothead: , Sorry I had just woke up. Not sure what the correct tap size is...As far as running without the screws...I have no idea. Haven't heard of anyone running with out them.
  13. All the idel screw does is keeps the slide from bottoming out in the carb. The screw is like a false bottom and you can adjust the heigth of the slide with the screw to make adjust the amount of air entering the carb..If you order the screws it will come with the correct tap.
  14. If the cables are cut at the throttle housing make sure the electrical connectors from the TORS are disconnected. To find the connectors you will have to follow the electrical wiring from the TORS and go under the tank. Will should see 2 either gray or white connectors. Disconnect those and the TORS is 100% bypased. There's a little black box under the left side of the tank mounted to the frame that the TORS electrical from the carbs run to.
  15. I got the camera out and got it all se tup and then I found that the stash of batteries I had to power the camera was gone. went to the store and then my mom calls and needed some help at the house. She ha da water line bust and flooded the neighbors yard. So I went over and fixed it for her. By the time I got done and got home it was already dark. TOMORROW I SWEAR.
  16. ok I've always wondered what the numbers mean when someone sells tires/rims here and I have an idea of what the numbers mean. For example dajogejr is selling some haulers that are 21x10x8 mounted on rims...ok I'm going to guess that the outter diameter is 21 inches. inner diameter is 10 inches and width is 8 inches....Am I wrong or right?? Now by the info he's given on the tire how do I know what size rim the tires are mounted on, the last 2 numbers?? 10in rim that's 8in wide?? any hel is greatly appreciated because in the next couple months i will hunting for some 22x11x10 haulers for my cheetah motor. Thanks in advance.
  17. Carbs.. You have the right idea about taking them apart and cleaning them out and inspecting them and making sure the passages are clean. The jetting should be in the ballpark area of like a 300 main jet and a 27.5 pilot. FMF pipes like a fat pilot jet. If you could give us you elevation we coupld help you dial in the jetting some more if the jetting is off. You will also want to look at the needle clip position. You will have to pull the needle out of the slide to check it. If we knew more about the engine mods we could help you even further. All i do to clean mine is take everything off/out that I can and spray carb cleaner through every hole I can find. when you put everything back together make sure the air screws are out 1.5 to 2 turns out from all the way seated( could be a reason the bike was running like crap if they were in the the spot) Does the carbs still have the T.O.R.S system attached to the top of the carbs..It's a funny looking thing that stands tall off the top of the carbs(look in your Clymers it will show you pics). You can do a search on this site to get a better idea of what it is and why most of all banshee owners get rid of it as soon as we can.( Can also cause and be the root of a world of problems that Clymers doesn't state). Motor..I would do a compression check on the motor and see what the compression is. That will tel us how healthy the motor is and if any mods have been done to the head and/or pistons(bigger bore, milled head etc), With that done we can also dial in your jetting even more if needs be. Welcome to the HQ.
  18. I owul have to agree on this one. The red looks pretty damn good with your current set up. That color red and the white plastics with gray details compliment each other will I think...I would change anything if it was me.
  19. They may have annoyed me but my main concern was the fact they were hitting the pipes and melting a little. I know for sure that I will trim them up a little around the pipes and see if they grow on me. I want to do a couple more heat cycles....might keep them on I don't know yet..
  20. I'll get my camera out tomorrow and get it set up on my helmet and take ride.
  21. Thanks..... 06. Finally got it out again today and got the engine broke in some more. The first part of the ride I was a bit disappointed that it felt kinda sluggish. I was wondering if the jetting was off or what. Right before I turned around to come back to the house I hit the throttle and the damn thing reared up on me and almost dumped me on my ass. I stopped to see if there was a bump I didn't see and there was nothing. So I took of and was slowly giving it gas and then the damn power band hit and OH MY GOD :woot: That damn thing just took of like a bat out of hell and I thought " The engine must be close to being broke in". The back end got all squirrly and I could tell the back tires were just spinning away and I then realized i was in 3rd. I will say that the CPI's sound damn good. Everyone was right when they said that when the power band hits it REALLY hits. I tried it with the front fenders on but I must say that they annoyed the hell out of me, that and the fender was hitting the pipe and melting a little. The only problem I had was when the bracket for the hydraulic clutch that bolts to the case came off and I couldn't pull the clutch lever back. I had to stop and fix it so I could get home. Other than that I had no problems.
  22. 2 ways...you can either follow what the manufacture recommnds or you can do the heat cycle method....And for that do search because ther are a lot of threads on this matter.....
  23. I don't have any pics...kinda hard to take a pic of my back myself. I have a tribal design going across the top of my shoulders and about a third of the way down my back. Have to have what i have done redone and get it finished due to the chick that did fucked it up bad. We had to do it in 2 sittings. The second and third sitting we did some of the coloring the coloring and one side scabbed up and lost all color in spots due to not putting as much lotion on. I used utter butter on one side and it looks like new still but she fucked that side up too..Will cost about $600 to have done so $$$ is being saved up.

    CPI or SHEARER

Called Jeff at FAST and he ran out....Called a few Companies that are dealers for CPI's. they were all out.... After a few more phone calls and being told they were all sold out and waiting for their shipment to come in(about a week or two wait) I called CPI themselves and they said that they were all sold out. They said that once they get their orders sent out to the dealers they will be able to stock their ware house bakc up. They had about 100 orders to fill and their orders were from 5-10 sets of exhaust systems. Called Cascade Innovations and they had 3 sets left and I bought one of their sets. I saw 15 sets of Shearers for sell on Ebay.
