What does thosecuns mena or did you mean those cubs

Right now I am stock with T6 pipes. Later this summer I am ordering cubs with a 68mm bore, new intakes, clamp on K&N's,V-Force Reeds, billit head, and shearer pipes. Just was wondering what carbs would be best.

DO I have to do anything special to take it off or does it just unblot?

I plan on getting cubs. I will need bigger carbs so which ones are the best. Patriot told me the 35mm PWK are pretty good. Also, if i get bigger carbs will I have to change the throttle cable or is the stock one ok.

I don't know how much porting was done and either does he. Sent it to Arkansas and then it was sent back. Before the port job a yfz 450 with revbox,pipes, and jetting was beating him by about two. After porting, banshee was screeming past him by about 5 quads. Dont know how far they were racing ( I was laughing too hard). Then he lost his top end. Bored it .030 and lost it. Now its bored .050 and he is going to try race gas.

Where is this TORS located on a shee?

His timing never was advanced so it should still be at zero. He is running 300 main and 30 pilots. We are at 3300 ft. Should the timing be advanced?

I am new to the shee. I keep seeing tors come up in other topics. What the crap does tors stand for

Dont know if you guys know but there is a track in Amarillo Texas that tells you your et, reaction time, mph, and everything else. I race a monte carlo but my two buddies brought their quads along. YFZ 450 vs. shee. 450 took him out of the hole but the shee ran him down and spanked him. You can run to 1/8 mile and criuse to the end or run it all the way throughthe quater. the she ran 13.5 in the quater and the 450 was like 14.5. Cant remember the 1/8 mile times.

My buddy has a 2004 Shee LE. It has been ported ( by some guy in Arkansas), a hemi head, fatties, and clamp on k&n's. He keeps burning up the top end and having to bore the cylinders, replace pistons, rings etc... Is it because he runs 91 octane? Should he use a higher octane fuel or does it not have anything to do with the fuel?

I am new to the banshee so I dont know much. I have read that it helps to advance the timing. Would it hurt a stock shee? If not is it hard to do? The most I have done is add pipes and jets. I am getting the 68mm cubs with new carbs, intakes, air intake system, pistons, head, and crank work. I want to advance it then but how much. Would like to try it stock first. Anyone help a new guy out

I was out riding on my shee and I raced a quadzilla. I won in a short race but he beat me in a long one. Then another guy said that Yamaha made a 500cc shee just to beat the Quadzilla. Is this true

I drag race mostly. No trails where I am from. Just a dried up river and a long sand drag.

Would Shearer pipes work on a stock banshee or would it not help? I currently have t6 but I plan on getting the 68mm cub cylinders. Just wondered if iI could go ahead and try them on the stock motor until I get the other stuff.

So if i just get the head milled .030 and don't reshape my domes will it not be any better? I know some really good machinist but don't know if they can reshape the domes. I will have to ask! I am confused now about what to do Would it be better to send it to Patriot or Trinity?

I have a 2005 shee with geckos ( the most horrible drag tire ever made i think) and I won by about a quad. Only mods I have are t6 pipes.

Im about 2 hrs from the little sahara and I live near the only dry river in texas you can ride on. I dont have to travel far I drag race a monte carlo so I can buy race gas at the track if my friends cant come up with any!

I am getting my head milled .030 so my compression will increase but I will have to test it to see. I can get octanes 91, 104, 108, 110, 112, 115. I live in the same town as a gas plant and I have really cool friends who work there I might try the 104 after the head mod and get rid of the air box lid.

I am new to the banshee and new to draging on any quad. Can you explain why with a stock swingarm I dont want too much traction? I drag race a monte carlo and I know that traction wins races, why different on a quad?

I don't know anthing about reshaping the domes I have some real good friends who are machinist so i'll let them handle the milling. What do I need to do to reshape the domes?
