i love my rec elkas....they have a good soft and firm ride to them...the helper spring does its job perfectly.....def'ly one of the best upgrades ive done so far...

& a stage 2 hot cam..
we're pretty much even up comp hill..
i havent gotten a good race on the straight...but i dout they'll pull on my top end...

my mods are in my sig...im ate sea level runs perfect...but i guess your not too much higher than sea level..so :shrugs:

After riding glamis yesterday...well i had took the carbs apart, i found that just the left carb was leaking so i adjusted the tab for the floats as per clymers manual...it helped alot..it doesnt seem to spit out fuel while im riding...but it still drips when i shut off the engine...so im going to buy a rebuild kit...where do you guys rec'd i buy it?? and whats the cost of a rebuild kit..TIA and for all your help..
i remember when i raced my buddies crf in another buddies banshee..i was banging gears in the shee..my buddy just poped a wheelie and thumped his way right past me like nothing! LOL>>> im scared of the CRF
i run laegers, no heim joints..the ball joint rubber sucks.hopefully i can upgrade to heim joints.
the rubber is all cracked already, I just have two seasons on them..oh and like washburn said no +1 forward either...
i ride glamis i have very similar setup as you check my sig i run 330 mains....I ran 350's when i installed t5's and k&N pods..then i jetted down after.. i've since added the cool head and reeds ive stayed at 330's runs perfect in glamis...
