  1. Being that it's a TT type bike and not a totally stripped drag bike, I'd be happy around 295-300. I'm sure it'll get to 310 pretty easily though, and the rest will require some extra effort. Since I've still got a whole other bike I'll be patient on this to really make it sweet.
  2. Your mechanic is kind of a hack. It can be made to work with out them, but it's so much better with the actual screws. Get the screws and a new mechanic.
  3. Break out the clymer and an ohm meter and start testing components.
  4. Umm, there is a lot of work goin there! I'd bet it is 7mm or more of stroke. That is a pretty large plate and those transfers have been welded. That's a pretty retro set up by today's standards, but I bet it runs like a raped ape on a fresh rebuild and decent tune up.

  6. For sure. You can buy a luxury European car for what any of the new Diesels cost. Rumor mill is that the Tundra will soon have a diesel brute platform and the Nissan Titan has some small diesel options as well.
  7. Better shocks on standard travel will be much nicer then long travel with mediocre shocks.
  8. I have to disagree with the ford having the most reliable trans. I worked in a Transmission shop/core warehouse before remodeling and their better then the dodge, but no where near as stout as the Allison.
  9. Obviously a I6 Cummins fanboy.
  10. What arms are using a 20" shock?
  11. Don't go long travel unless you plan to use the better shocks.
  12. Didn't Loco let ETR come back?
  13. What does the spark look like? It should be making color with those jets. You are getting it wide open in 6th, right?
  14. Washed clean?
  15. ^ Exactley. This is all doable, but it takes qualified personnel with experience. The technology has been around for decades, and it's time to get it in to other applications. It can't just be some guy putting resin on weave and sending it out the door. There many folks doing this shit in motorsports successfully, and I've got no problem paying the right hands to make this happen.
  16. Photo of the ring around the electrode. If it's on pump gas or non oxygenated race gas, it should be a chocolate brown.
  17. FYI, there is a material on the market that will make Chromoloy obsolete in racing. I can not remember what it was called off the top of my head, but Moe Laub and Evan ( 358shee) may be kind enough to weigh in. I weighed a foot of it with equal sized chromoly and saw a little more then an ounce difference.
  18. My fireball LT arms are not ordinary.... And they weigh almost as little as the Race-tech Ti arms, so that's a start.
  19. That third one is stock cyls with a 2-1..... But I guess it could be confused with a cub to the dumbest of humans.
  20. Weld the crank and put fresh bearings and seals in the bottom end before doing any of that shit^.
