  1. Get them out with a bit of map gas if you find yourself really beating them up. I you don't have a press, a nice clean bench vice is ok.
  2. Sickness!
  3. Ya, just did a 4mil for my buddy and I'm gonna make him snatch one of these up. You just can't grasp how fucking heavy duty these things really are till it hits your hand.
  4. This makes me think of when I first started Ice racing and we spent a lot of time doing different things to the piston to keep it cool. In the end, bigger windows seemed to make the best result. Minimal power gain but cylinder temps (data logged with pyrometers) actually were different. We tried a multitude of things. There is obviously a threshold though where going to far hurts piston life. So we tried the boost ports and side skirt work. The best results came from slight window work, two smaller holes on upper rear of the piston, and some skirt chamfering on the sides. No noticeable life lost, cooler temps.
  5. Maybe I should clarify. If the motor is going from a stock ported, stock cylinder, stock stroke 350 going to the smaller base gasket, new piston with reach around windows, 4 mil crank, and proper domes. It will see 7 HP. Just curious, you seem to feel that NOBODY ELSE here has even had a thought on the same level as your Said friends. All because nobody agrees with your thoughts on a window will do? Just so where clear, if you're that ignorant and arrogant, I'm not so sure I'd want to think in that level. You do realize that in order for this piston to have been thought up, designed, and built, there had to be R&D before hand for some one to wanna know up front what really worked before they paid Weisco to make a run. Simply put, so that you don't over analyze. That means these were a result of banshee specific builders spending lots of time over the last tens of years, developing these. That means many combos have come and went as well as trends in stroker set ups. Being that you aren't really in to the banshee scene, I don't expect you to know this, but people have obviously been experimenting with windows. It's not NEW! Being that you're so intellectual, I'd think you knew that. So being that we know know it's BEEN DONE, do you really think none of us inbred backwoods hill billy banshee morons has no clue as to what's happening? I offered to come make this happen, but here you are trying to be the cool kid. No point in trying to show off here. Trust me, nobody really gives a shit about you. They just want the result. You'll hang out for a while and realize nobody is really that impressed and go back to your VESPA forum.
  6. See what I mean about people agreeing but still wanting to argue? Yes I know what 1mm can make. More or less you are just looking to stroke your own Napoleon complex here. Every time you should be posting results you just talk about what people you know have done. Quit fucking fucking boasting about your marginal knowledge and start building motors professionally to show proof or kindly SHUT THE FUCK UP TILL YOU HAVE RESULTS. Obviously you're not setting the world on fire so let it go I've agreed these are better. But I don't agree with your claims. That's all. You are literally telling me to put these in my current 795 motor and change the dome and I'll gain 7 horses. Go back through an read your own stuff. It's not happening. I've even had in windowed pistons bought and machined where similar to how the window is on these and it was only minimal gain. 7-10 HP with window work ain't happening. NOT HAPPENING! NOT HAPPENING! NOT HAPPENING! NOT HAPPENING! Oh, it's not........... NOT HAPPENING! NOT HAPPENING!
  7. Being happy is all that matters. Hopefully all his new customers are just as satisfied.
  8. Totally on board with everything stated by windy, Shane, and sprinkler. These are gonna make a motor lay out easier and make stupid high deck heights way better. I just disagreed with the original claims of power just over windowing. I've had motors with regular ol 795's, 795's with boost port added, 795's with window work, and 795's with both window and boost added. Same with 513's. The 7-10 just isn't there. The real deal will be better face through the usable curve. Not a crazy HP addition. I just think the thread is off track and they only nay saying I've seen is the over the peak gains. At this point it's one of those things where people are just arguing even though they agree it's a good thing.
  9. ^ it's a bitch, but building a box and insuring it is the best.
  10. They're hard to come by some times. But if you're patient you may see one pop up every now and again.
  11. ^professional match stick man (Con man)
  12. So, I take it you mess with a bunch of RZ stuff to have any interest in this third rate dump of a forum.
  13. Ya, I'm assuming it's just a smart phone auto correcting BDC. To be sure I googled itOther wise, this is where some one is just using their own terms and trying to make you feel stupid for not knowing them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. Shearer built but little bit different power.
  15. ^pink real tree in slim fit V neck bellas.
  16. Any time the stock basket in a bike is finally worn it should be replaced with a quality forged unit. The Magnum/PE basket is what, 150ish now. Wonder what a new OEM costs since you have to buy them with the gear attatched.
  17. Asphalt gives ZERO FUCKS about your motor....... It will promptly make sure you know what the next weak link is. I've only seen one bike break 2nd on sand and it was about 120hp bike. Yet I've seen many failures on asphalt in motors from 90 hp stock cyls to 100+ hp cubs. That shit is aggressive and really takes it's toll on a motor.
  18. 14 plate Easter basket?
  19. Powder or POR15
  20. Like many products in this world. Cool concept, piss poor execution......
  21. ^ nonsense answer. But ok. Just make sure to post results.
  22. Fair test. Quick question. You are CNC cutting your domes? Not the blanks, but the dome profile and all? Not turning them? Or CNC lathe? Sorry that's multiple questions.
  23. You know if the pilot is good by how it runs with air screw adjustment. If it runs better with more then 2-2 1/2 turns out then you would wanna go down on pilot size. If it runs better with the air screw all the way in, you may need a richer pilot.
