  1. Dunno, I've bought a bunch of shit through guys here and none of them paid fees nor did I. If you say it's a friend and still claim goods you can be protected and not pay fees. It might not work for the guys who are obviously running a business like JD or something. But so far it has been free all year for me and the folks I've bought from. 2. Well, if that's the case..... Send it else where. Why pay one guy to port it, then send it out to someone else to have domes made?
  3. DMC for you. You add some displacement with a stroker crank and good porting maybe shearers.
  4. If you can port..... You should be able to make domes. Pretty sure any of his dome issues are on motor he ported but tried to use stock heads or shelf domes. That's partially on customers wanting to save money, but as a builder he should know what works on his motors and advise against work with out a complete set up.
  5. Meh, a lot of names out there. More specifically, guys who do as good or BETTER work, and it comes with follow up service.
  6. Dude, well...... Fuck. Is dead beats photo the bike in question?
  7. Dig that brass idle knob on those Ching Chong knock off PWK's. Where did you find those? Or did they come with them? Hate the plastic ones on my real PWK's
  8. You forgot to get better bearings. Some max loads would of been good assurance.
  9. Similar concept. Not sure if the gigot is even still available. Worth a call.
  10. 10 mil, keep throwing chassis set up at it. Walk on most of the stuff in Florida.
  11. Yeah for sure in canada
  12. Same way you expect a chick to stroke ya nuts while she blows ya, the banshee trans is the same. You gotta tweak the shaft while you diddle the shifter. Problem solved.
  13. The price is about the same in the end. With the super low cost finger style units, they usually need a modified or aftermarket cover which can get pricy. I don't think there is enough room for the finger style lock up to work behind a Duncan cover. There should definitely be enough room for a sling shot though. I do not know if it's actually big enough to pull off the service cover of the sling shot that I run though. Mine is from Lane at Driveline. It's tits. The first season I had it I didn't mess with it much. I set it up according to the directions, and learned what it did to the bike in different situations. Then I started messing with the weights and making it slip for just the hole shot and that made a huge difference on race day. Then I started noticing it engine braking a bit less aggressive, the weight on the rotating mass (yep thackism) seemed to help the bike coming out of the apex of the turn. Couple that with the fact that it seemed to slip just a cunt hair out of the turn so I started using less clutch fanning. It made the bike retarted predictable. I'm sure a finger style could probably be tuned to work as well, but I kinda dig my driveline lock up. Newest venture this year has been different clutches and weights from McMaster Carr Buy one^ Also, have CamATV cut your trans....
  14. ^ yeah, but he got your money so fuck you! Seriously, tuning is tuning. Some guys are just capable while others are only Handicapable. Bummer you got took. Did you get it sorted out at least?
  15. Old thread, but I must say. The way Possum blacked out the tube work between the main rails sounded goofy, however on the finished product it looked bitchin!
  16. About a year ago PAYPAL enabled a feature that allows users to send money from their bank account for ZERO FEE. I haven't seen any one even us this yet and people still demand that their money be gifted so that they are not responsible for fees. Normally this is ok, but there are always a few shady fucks that seem to fall out of the norm. Meaning that if you gift your payment, you are shit out of luck. But now you can use your checking, debit, and I believe even your savings account safely and free. Protect your purchase as well as save some money. Doesn't get any better then that.
  17. By the way, black and dry means hot. Black and wet is rich. What jets?
  18. Coolant leak. I mean maybe not, you said it doesn't make a difference. But it's over heating, hmmm......
  19. I do like those plates, just don't see many of them. Isn't there typically more adjustment on them?
  20. An over ride and lock up in that bike would make a huge difference.
