  1. Have you seen this particular combo run solid before doing work? Or is this a sort of running bike that you happened to pick up needing work? Are there any internal mods that you know of? What is the current jetting? If you pulled out jets that work with those upgrades and replaced them with the ones from the rebuild, that should be your first place to start.
  2. Just spend some money on HGH and be done. Or go to Mexico and get some discount roids.
  3. The FMF were pretty nice. Not quite on par with the newer stuff on the market, but definitely an improvement over stock cages with better reeds. Probably only marginally better if any over ported stock cages.
  4. JUUUUNK.
  5. ^ I'm glad you figured it out. But you were ready to unleash the hounds, and apart entry you were way off... But now that your wrong it's as simple as just saying "I'm wrong, oh well?"
  6. ^ agree. Should have let BHP check it out months ago
  7. Compression? Just trying to be sure the thing even has life in it.
  8. Fucking aye billeh... ^ good dude that driveline guy.
  9. Good puller. You can usually just toss a clean piece of paper shop towel down under the bearing, then just implode the bearing. Do not reaf against the case in any way shape or form.
  10. No. Doesn't need to be the head.
  11. ^ pretty sure he's just saying just because someone put a cool knife edge on the intake bridge, doesn't mean the motor is gonna eat to it's potential. Lots of guys crank on the intake, knife edge the tips of the transfers and call it a runner. Takes more then that.
  12. Thread a bolt through the eyelet of each ground to each bolt hole of the coil mount. Gonna need wide head bolts or some washers.
  13. It's not a bad idea to tear it down anyway. It's the only way to really know what is goin on inside that thing and if the motor truely runs worth a damn it's better to just make sure the bottom is bullet proof. There is a bottom end walk through thread on here that is worth a peek. Things to think about: Crank and trans bearings Crank welded? Trans for your riding (CAMATV) Full C-clip on bearings that only have half moon clips. Or double oems. Clutch. Actuator arm to the pressure plate. Cable and lever. Quality seals.
  14. Take it to the asphalt and see if it makes ya happy. If you wanna get it to the dunes and actually ride it around, you'll need at least a "dunable" over ride. Just depends.... Do you get your rocks off only going in short straight lines? Or do you wanna get in the tree shots and idiot holes? Maybe ride a trail or two?
  15. Stock coil mount..... That's how I did one. Keeps the two extra grounds up out of the way nice and easy. Another guy I know had one one a drag bike. Mounted the coil on an aluminum plate with the CDI and nitrous stuff. Right next to it was a small tab welded to the frame. He had both grounds attached there. Make sure to keep it bare metal and use dialectric grease.
  16. Few inches is cool. But when guys try to stack it all together it can give it a stutter at wot.
  17. Keep the coil away from the CDI

  19. Seems like Tim is to the point where most of his work he can pick and choose. If you Havnt already dealt with him, it may be hard to get in line. Try facebook?
  20. That's like hammering a guys balls on the edge of a table with an ice axe.
  21. ^ I'd give them both aids.
  22. What if my buddy is Larry Wolfang at Doc Fang Engineering?
