  1. Take a peek at the home page. There is a whole list of guys in the sponsor section.
  2. Not shabby. Bracket and all.
  3. Agree, but I'd rather run pj's then the air strykers
  4. So, how did this thing run? And who got it squared away?
  5. I figured you were done racing for sure, but are you not even in to dunes or any of that shit?
  6. Well, that is pretty handy. Not if you are the kid whose bike seat got robbed, but at least it went to good use. Nice work sir.
  7. Teuchè on inside the stator cover.
  8. Take the carbs apart and thoroughly clean them, clean filter and air box, pull apart all electrical connections and spray them with contact cleaner or brake cleaner then re assemble with dialectric grease, spray brake cleaner through throttle cable till it comes out fairly clear and follow it with lube, clean throttle assembly and lube it. See where that gets you. Do this right away and get the bike revved up and cleaned out. You could still have a little bit of water in the crank case. So it could be goofy till you get it cleared out.

  10. The intent was for the big and small bore to deliver the same way granted they are put on motors set up to need them. If a motor is to small for big bores it will feel flat and make less power. A motor to big for small bore will be choked out or either make one good pass, then start to fade on power as it gets heat soaked if you got lap it. There is some grey area though and it may apply to your situation. If you're in the dunes and hitting the strip or hill repeatedly, you could possibly benefit from the big bore pipes. The first run may be ok but not impressive. But if it stays hot and you get right back in to it again the bigger pipe could really shine. On the flip side. I feel your motor may probably run best on a dyno pull or 300' track with a small bore but in the dunes or a place where you get to hot lap the power could fade. I would definitely talk to whomever did those cylinders and try to get your hands on both pipes and see what happens.
  11. Depends on the set up, but IMO I'd say small bore. CC wise that motor is getting close to big bore territory, especially if you take it to the dunes and hot lap the hell out of it. However, if those cylinders don't have the transfers welded up, there is no way that thing could make the volume needed to run the big bore pipes. Typically on big bore stock cyl stuff the transfers get a bit choked down after the bigger sleeve is pressed.
  12. This or pods
  13. Can you post both graphs?
  14. Have you considered some Vito's superstock pistons?
  15. The CPI's will definitely have more usable power, however they do sign off earlier. The shearers usually rev out further. When I first messed with the shearers, I've found that they liked a very rich needle. Also, does the current set up already have more timing and compression?
  16. You implying that there was a severe ballast bar rape session? Haha
  17. Maybe sell both and put money toward something already tailored for a fella who shares the same stature as your self
  18. If you ever took your jalopy in the woods you would learn to love hand guards and heel guards. Hell, I originally bought my hand guards for winter to keep cold wind and ice chips from killin my knuckles. If never ditch mine.
  19. Look on the home page, click site sponsors. Then dial till your heart is content.
  20. They even have titanium bar in different lengths and diameter. Ultra light weight clutch push rod anybody?
  21. Ahh fuck! Between buying a few titanium goodies from race tech and this site, I'm gonna be broke and all I'll have to show for it is a little box of awesomeness and a few less LBS

  23. If you wanna go to the track and seriously compete on race day just do the yfz. If you just wanna have fun at the track and destroy folks in the trails, then banshee. If you were really serious, you could either do a laeger or LSR banshee chassis and actually compete at the track but it's a lot of cash. Maybe even consider a yfz with a banshee motor but to do a nice hybrid is about as much as just doing a LSR or Laeger's.
