  1. Definitely 100+. I've seen a lot of AV gas set ups that could support a set up like that, but it's flirting with the edge. If it were me I'd be safe and run 110. What do you have access to?
  2. No need if they are synced well.
  3. Your stock carbs are totally fine on that set up. Ride it for a bit and take a mental note of how much you find your self needing top end charge. If it's just occasional, maybe bore the stockers or if you got cash find some 28mm PWK's. If you suddenly want way more upper end charge you may wanna consider something larger as well as possible pipe swap.
  4. Popping is typically lean. What is the current jetting set up at? I saw you had a cool head but don't recall the dome size. What CC domes?
  5. 30 pilot Middle clip on needle 290-300 main
  6. All engine studs have some degree of stretch, but more then likely you will pull it out of the aluminum before it ever stretches enough to become a problem.
  7. When you go to the ATM and everyone just tosses their account balance slip on top or on the floor when there is a fucking trash can right next to the ATM. Typically all broke fucks, so there are definitely traits of the laziness showing through on their bank roll.
  8. To 28mm. However, the flat slide stuff out there will be far more responsive then the Mikuni VM stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Nope, find a 39/41 PWK
  10. Blendzall FTW!
  11. Just one more thing to go wrong.
  12. Yes. The gimmick factor has already been proven.
  13. Might as well give the clutch a quick once over.
  14. Neither...
  15. This thing still around?
  16. Gotcha.
  17. I'd definitely throw 4 degrees at that set up. Make sure it's good premium gas though.
  18. Could even get the stockers bored.
  19. The 162 looks like it's got molten aluminum on the base of the plug. What's up with that? Is the motor still ok?
  20. Why are we yelling! Haha Might as well invest in a nice tors delete kit though. Don't buy the cheapest. Some out there have nice caps & adjusters, premium throttle cable, drill bit that won't break in the first carb, quality idle screws, & detailed instructions. Some are just kits with a junk bit, 2 idle screws, and pot metal caps. Just give the stockers a good once over while you're doing it all. Set the floats, change any wear items, fresh choke tube, etc.
  21. You know the cause of the last top end failure? I'm betting it was detonation. To much compression and not enough octane means that the fuel mixture is igniting on pressure/heat before the piston shoves the mixture in to the dome completely where the spark plug should light it. You add timing to that and it becomes a time bomb. Timing just creates way more heat and more detonation.(pre detonation/pre ignition, whatever your school of terminology is) That 21cc dome would may be fine on a stock cylinder, but a dome that same size and stuffed with 3-4mm more piston and a little stroke and you're just slamming way more volume in to the same sized combustion chamber.
  22. Compression test it. With a gauge, not your thumb over the hole.
  23. That's kinda how they fit. The major issue is clearing the stock pipes. Pain in the ass. Send it back, and find a pro flow adaptor for the stock box.
