  1. It would of been nice to see the bridge in the intake with a little more meat left. With the transfers welded, you can take out a bit more meat. Especially on the divider all the way up the transfers. Last, the boost port is a minimal gain unless you really work them. Make it worth your while and get them opened up. You don't seem to have a problem welding on these things, so it wouldn't be to big I an ordeal if you go through.
  2. Basket spins hard or the inner hub?
  3. What do the plugs look like? Compression test to make sure it's not hurt internally. Then check the spark out.
  4. Brandon is quite active here. Have you tried contacting him?
  5. I've seen a lot of exhaust with the squarish shape and they run well. But you need to make sure the transitions at the outer edges where they meet top and bottom have lots of attention. The guy I learn a lot of this from swears by the shape being like that, but is always very quick to show a collection of really fucked up pistons from projects that come in from other builders where they barely blended it and just chamfered it.
  6. Specs from Tom himself. I don't know if this was for a stock stroke or 4mil though. The rockets are a pretty decent pipe, but to get them to rev, they need a fairly brutal exhaust duration. On my 4mm, it actually didn't seem to hurt the bottom end much going from a 196-200*, but it really let it charge up top. Same motor with shearers obviously revved out better up top, but had no where near the bottom end as the same combo with rockets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I actually really dig plates that adjust that way. But if you got the right wrench, the regular ol' style is faster.
  8. Because people are always willing to call it good enough if it fits their non existent budget.
  9. If you're going that far and actually about to pull all the gears off the shaft, you might as well call around and get a Pro mod transmission. It's not the full over ride like the drag guys run, but it makes trail bikes shift so much nicer.
  10. 51 Bob....
  11. Hard to tell on my phone, but are the front shocks height adjustable? In the photo, it almost looks like the upper body is threaded.
  12. For what you're doing, OEM.
  13. I will get a rubuttal on this from her just to prove a point.
  14. Have you actually looked at the spark you are getting?
  15. There is a half moon cutaway on the bottom of the slides. This exact same scenario which you speak of has happened to countless fellas who swear that they have the bike put together correctly. A month of tail chasing and Presto! They flip the slides and all is well.
  16. Not everybody has Carl up the street though.
  17. And no....
  18. You can put in a lot of time and get stellar results. Or get some wheels and compound and see what they look like.
  19. I put the sink in, I'll wash whatever the fuck I want in it. Including parts... I bought the stove and the pots & pans. I'll boil whatever the fuck I want in them as long as it's not toxic or hazzardous. If she's got beef with that, she better pack her Fuggin' bags.
  20. Totally plausible at this point.
  21. ^ exactley. At this point it's gonna be something minor and trivial. That's IF the motor truely isn't hurt and your electrical is as good as you say.
  22. ^ umm, etiquette? $200 is a fair deal on any straight round house -2.
  23. Annnd.... Stickey.
