the porting is gonna run more than $250 most likely. there's shipping, gaskets, and probably new pistons, a hone job, possible bore.......
for a simple bolt on with no headaches or downtime, I'd put the reeds on, or save my money til I had enough for new pistons and such.
if you didn't care about the length of down time, you could sell your cylinders and probably pick a set of used ones that have been ported for a very similar price. the cubs have put a pretty large surplus of ported stock cylinders on the market. people that spent a grand on drag porting are selling their cylinders for nothing, because nobody wants them anymore in favor of the cub.
