  1. I wouldn't be so quick to bump your mains up with CPI's. I was running 320 mains in my 4mm ported motor with CPI's. Same motor when it was bone stock with T5's ran the same jetting. I'd heard of people with ported motors and T5's going up to like 380 main jets. I believe that the FMF's and T5's jet fairly similarly, but I could be wrong. The CPI's and shearers also jet similarly, but I think are just more efficient in terms of the return wave stuffing the cylinders. Again, this is just a presumption based on nothing more than my understanding.
  2. I ran CPI's until last week, and just used a long zip tie around both filters and through the shock mount to hold them in and down. I'm switching to shearers with my cub, but with mixed emotions. I don't expect to be faster up the hill, but I do expect a funner ride. My CPI's pulled very hard off the line, and I'm afraid I'll be losing some of that, but make up for it pulling through the gears.
  3. that chrome grill looks like shit against the black like that. let me know if you want me to try it on my grey bike
  4. get some of those 28 pwk knockoffs on ebay for $200 or whatever they run
  5. If they still have the plugs on the wires, I'll take them. PM me and I'll paypal today.
  6. what he said. My 4mm is at Redline right now. can't f'n wait, fellas....
  7. it's obvious, I can't read for shit sometimes
  8. Well, I don't think there's a single solution to everyone's riding needs. People give their opinions on what to run because they ahve good experiences with them. You say that a 9 or 10 paddle would be too much, and that the 4 strokes would catch them half way up the hill, but one of the biggest racing hills here in Florence (comp hill for the locals), you're looking at being in 3rd gear at the top, unless you have a port job or a 4mm. There, it's important to hook right the hell up, because the 450's are damn hard to beat off the line. I miss the hell out of being able to pitch the bike sideways and throw a nice roost, cause if I tried that with my 21" 10 paddles, it just pulls the front off the ground, but I wouldn't trade them for anything, because it drags very nice for what it is. Buy the 8 paddles like this guy says, and I'll show you where they will suck. By the 10 paddle 22" extremes and I'll show you where they suck. So, call me dumb for "overpaddling" my banshee. It does exactly what I want it to.
  9. 13/16 My last g/f always wanted it pitch black and only wanted anal sex.
  10. John19, sorry, but I told you in advance I wasn't quite ready to sell them, and even PM'd you a link to a guy that was selling his for cheaper than I was asking. PIPES, CLAMPS, TOP END SOLD
  11. pics of the a-arms to [email protected] what comes with them?
  12. Run 3 toomey springs in the clutch and you'll be fine. I put my used clutch back in it and ran it all year wihtout a problem. I run a +4 swingarm on it now, and it's fine. I'm confident you'll be pleased with your 4mm when you get it back together.
  13. bump Top End sale pending... CPI pipes 425 shipped Cascade Billet Clamps 25
  14. H129 crank is a hotrods 4mm crank with a 5mm long rod. It comes from the manufacturer welded. The best place to buy is from eBay, but make sure you contact the seller and verify the model number. They make a long rod crank that is still the stock stroke (H111 I think), which you don't want. I think you can get the 4mm for 430 from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WISECO-CRAN...1QQcmdZViewItem or here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOT-RODS-ST...1QQcmdZViewItem I know someone that has bought from VIP and has had no problems with them.
  15. How much for the whole bike? Pics?
  16. depends on how they extract it. If they can just pull it without cutting your gum and such, then it's not too bad. just had one pulled a few months ago, and it was no big deal. i thought the worst part was eating afterward, when you got that soft spot where the tooth was and food jabbing it, bleh, makes me nautious thinking aobu tit.
  17. bet that first shower was a real bitch
  18. Damn, i can't ride a 2nd gear wheelie, let alone a 6th gear one. I have minimus testiculus I guess. I've always sucked at wheelies, whether bikes, motor cycles, or quads.
  19. bought mine on ebay for like 207 or something.
  20. Get a 4mm crank and buy my cylinders in the for sale section. I've yet to lose to a 4 poke since my arm has healed and I got my gearing/tire setup right. They still have the factory paint too, so it's definitely a sleeper. Especially when people would see the stock carbs.
  21. "werd " is good for about 1000 posts itself
  22. I think this guy's dead on for your bike.
  23. ^^ Thanks for the nice words and bump. help a brutha out, buy my shizz and help fund my cub Looking for $450 shipped for the pipes, $550 for the cylinders/pistons/domes
  24. Thinking about going to some cubs, so if I get a good enough offer on the following items, it will sway my vote. Redline Racing Ported Stock cylinders on the stock bore with 795 series pistons 3 sets of cut domes 160/170/180 pounds of compression (you won't need to run the spacer for a 4mm longrod crank) CPI inframes The cylinders/pistons/pipes have about 10 rides on them and are in very good shape. Here's my motor with the 160 domes and stock carbs on pump gas Here's a pic of my bike with the pipes (hasn't been ridden since the pic) PM me offers, or email them to me at [email protected] I'm not hard up for money, so don't be an clown.
