  1. I don't think it has to do with viscocity of mixed fuel. If you run a richer premix ratio, there is less gasoline per volume of fuel. So richer premix corresponds to leaner air/fuel ratio.
  2. I run the DID ERT non-oring chains in my shee. With a 6 over, I'm pretty sure a 120 length chain is long enough. Just buy that and cut off some length to fit.
  3. You guys back east that sell their 3 year old shee for 2k need to understand that $3500 in Oregon buys you a pile of shit or a completely bone stock shee and someone needs some $. California's pretty similar. So, don't be hatin on this guy, he's not really all that far off on price.
  4. VIPRacing on eBay can get them to you for $419 shipped I think, that's the H129 4mm long rod crank. Pretty sure that's where I bought mine last year, 370banshee just bought one a month or so ago form them too. Good luck Do yourself a favor and buy a TZ bearing for it too. They're about $50-70 depending where you buy them.
  5. your stock carbs should work fine for now. would anything have caused the gab between the pickup coil and flywheel to change? also, just curious why you switched back to the stock needle? thought they were actually leaner than the toomey needle? like wes recommended, I'd fire it up and get it to the point that it bogs shut it off and look at the plugs. that motor should run very good, even with stock carbs and T5's.
  6. I'll offer you $550 with the carrier
  7. I'm gonna take brooke to it and then discuss politics in bed afterward
  8. The pics with the hand written dates look legally binding and proof that the job was in fact done on the stated date Where's the bike located, and how much?
  9. I used channel locks to turn the preload adjustments on mine. They turn pretty easy if nothing is compressing the shock when you are trying to turn them.
  10. prolly wouldn't hurt it, but you'll have hot unburnt premix douching everything behind your stingers. might see a change in performance due to the difference in backpressure too........dunno if you are running a stock exhaust, you can score a whole new setup for the cost of shipping to anyone on the site that still has theirs most likely.
  11. Well, I don't think they make a 34pwk, but Wes ran 34PJ's in his along with some shearer inframes. Good luck and start saving your money.
  12. that's one of my banshees I had to sell last year
  13. I run 111 octane leaded race gas. can get it for $5 a gallon, or $4.50 a gallon by the drum
  14. most builders will recommend wiseco's. mine does, so that's what I run....
  15. correct.... moving the clip up, moves the needle deeper in the main, restricting fuel moving the clip down, moves the needle out of the main allowing more fuel
  16. i bought my jets from Dennis Kirk 5 bucks a pair i think
  17. some of them that are 1 piece have the crossover tube in the aluminum. pretty sure boss intakes are like that. I run UPP intakes on my bike with no crossover. not sure if I'm missing out on anything or not.
  18. not sure increase velocity of A/F to improve the atomization, maybe? just a guess
  19. that sucks, man. they could've been off a TT shee or a drag bike or something that wanted the bike to sit lower and not care about giving up the travel.
  20. I don't think there's a best pipe period. Every motor is subtley different. Buddy of mine with a 10mil cub lost 3HP and .1 in 300 feet with the GRR outframes and went back to his shearers. Then there are plenty of other folks that have good success with them. As far as the GRR inframe, i'm sure they are gonna be like CPI's or shearers and want a high exhaust duration. They'll probably perform similar to them, but personally, I don't like the mechanical design of them. The shearers are like T5's, where they curve down and give you access to your plugs and provide plenty of clearance for fuel lines and air filters. All things being equal, I'd take a set of shearers over them, and I've yet to see anyone with a dyno or other proof that even shows them being equal to a set of shearers. I ain't hatin' on GRR. Have never dealt with them, just giving my .02
  21. should you find anyone interested in your stock pipes, see if they are interested in the following: front fender brackets stock air filter stock heel guards and a perfectly good TORS unit I'd even throw in a stock set of splash guards for the front rotors
  22. man, you got a steal on this arm. by the time I saw it on PS, you'd bought it. does this price include the carrier?
  23. depends where you live... back east, 2000-2500 prolly. Oregon, probably 4k
  24. Wallrat is from down there somewhere. I'm sure he can give you some names of good local people.
