  2. you are supposed to put your sensor in the front of the pipe near the cylinders, drill holes and get some plugs welded, similar to pyros.
  3. No Strocker and long rod is different Stroker is when the strocke is bigger, Which means the piston goes further up and lower down Long rod is when the connecting rod is longer which makes the piston go higher but but not lower, by the way it goes higher even when its at its lowest point.
  4. Those bikes had lot's of torque, didn't rev that much. They were Faster than a banshee in the stock form, but a medium built banshee would outrun them and a banshee can be modified alot more than the quadzilla. They are big and heavy bikes. There excellent for Hill climbing . Not the most reliable bike also and aftermarket parts are getting harder to find these days.
  5. what problems ? Theyve worked fine for everybody else !
  6. One word Porting ! i think flywheel lightening + milled head wont be very usefull on a stock engine. You can find alot more power elsewhere than the head and flywheel for now
  7. aint there some overide transmision you cant downshift until bike is stopped ?
  8. i say new plugs too
  9. match porting ? Id leave stock carbs or single carb setup
  10. Stock Pipes ?
  11. i have some on my bike and i like them , the wont give you that much of a power increase. Just easier to work with than stock carbs. Id get a woods port on your bike first, it would give you a big power increase and stay reliable.
  12. They just sink in snow until they catch the soil, and they are shit on ice Paddles in winter Use prowedge or 4-snow they stay on top and bite to snow and ice.
  13. Good one LOL
  14. Silicone ? Isnt that for Bathtubs and showers ?
  15. just turn your stock banshee rear rims around ! I have offset rear rims +1 inch Douglas there is lots off them.
  16. ok measure it
  17. Definitively Prowedges or 4-snows
  18. Found this article http://www.everything2stroke.com/reviews/dyna.php Dont think of old cars their ignition is not the same system at all, the battery makes the power used to make the fire. On a banshee its a magneto system, The stator makes the electrical curent that goes in the Ignition box and when the little bump on the rotor wich turns meets the pickup coil on the stator it tells the Ignition box to fire. You can change the timing by using the +4 degree key that makes the rotor meet the stator 4degree before or you can also turn the stator wich does the same thing but these ways are permanent until you stop the bike and take it apart. The dyna ignition allows you to electronically change the timing curve without taking anything apart . It just modifies the settings in the Ignition Box+ bettter spark and a bunch of cool features like clutchless shift and holeshot rev limiter, The holeshot rev limiter is just a switch you put on the clucth and lets say you re doing a drag race, you hold the throttle wide open , the ignition only lets the engine rev lets say 3000 rpm , so when you let go the clutch the throtlle is already wide open and revving. It makes Quicker holeshots.
  19. i put a trx 250r thumb throttle on my bike , i know lots of people have done this . The problem is that even with all the ajustments at the end the cable is too short. Its a motion pro cable without tors and my carbs are pwk 28s What could i do ?
  20. clutch pulled in ! Brake light switch can be used !
  21. I'd go with the dyna fs first I like the holeshot rev limiter on it.
  22. coil and ignition arent the same thing at all the dyna fs is an ajustable timing curve while the nology coil is just better spark. The dyna box is pretty good but expensive its made to be used on mostly built engines. The Nology is more of a thing you buy if your coil break or to be used with the dyna box. If i was you i'd start with a Timing Advance key its a very cheap mod if you dont have one yet.
  23. You could get new titles if the VIN is clear. If ever its hot, well you would loose your bike + Since you have a bill of sale the guy who sold it to you would get in trouble , he would be responsible for selling you something stolen .
