  1. i think your pilot jet is too rich i ran like a 52 or a 55 and and i had stock 250r needles center clip with 160 mains a pilot jets being too rich would make the bike hard too ajust at idle and make it bog up. i took them off and put pwk 28 pj 34 are big carbs for stock cylinders
  2. yamaha canada website
  3. fmf silencers break like that when they get low on wool, the screen vibrates and brakes off. Keeping them always full with wool keeps them from breaking.
  4. i already ran with 22 inch maxxis all tracks 22-11-09 and they had good traction ans they were not that hard to pull at all.
  5. with my pjs i ran dek needle 160 mains and 50 pilots needle 3 clip
  6. you can put a trx 250r thumb on or you could cut the springs in the carb and strech them
  7. i would go with v-force but if you decide to lighten your flywheel do not do it this way start the bike up and hold a flat file to the flywheel as the bike is idling. the metal shavings will fly around and it gets pretty loud so be sure to wear osha approved ear and eye protektion. :baseball_bat: Lol I just cant get over someone thougth about that!
  8. who even dared to think of that? you could also wear a bulletproof shield , no no an osha approved shield! think of this, if the file hooks in the pickup coil how far it will fly? , i think it would probably rip it off . i dont think a file would take that much metal off it would only scratch it. thats like the best osha approved plan to loose your fingers or something like that.
  9. 17 inch triple rates arent that long long travel a arms normaly use 18 or 19 inch quad rate shocks
  10. i used a blaster roller . the wheel on it is bigger than stock kinda like the shift pro and its alot cheaper . i will try to get a picture up soon.
  11. 40$ seems like a good price to me
  12. those carbs are way too big for your bike i had some pj 34 on my bike and i changed them for pwk 28 because i was loosing too much torque .
  13. i use some pvc hose , its the exact same diameter as the stock bushings and are very very cheap like couple of cents for a foot.
  14. i lost all top end power with my mids they are made for motocross type bikes
  15. thats pretty good work you can take alot more off than that in the midlle i have fmf reed cages that have been ported and the midlle piece is alot thinner, its just like a knife but you need to change the reeds on top because the stock ones wont seal right ,get some tdr because there is only on big flap not two little flaps like the stock ones so you can dremel alot more of the middle . if you have any questions just send me a message you can dremel off all whats inside the red squares with tdr reeds
  16. that banshee would probably gain horsepower by taking those ugly fenders off
  17. 178 is way too much id go back to 160 and maybe lower
  18. Banshee History colors this is the page
  19. Tors does not affect gas in the engine it only cuts the spark if the throttle sticks . if your engine fires you can forget about Tors. Since you changed carbs and the problem is still not fixed, its probably not your carbs , you should check compression and makes sure the reed valves are not cracked.
  20. it could be honed but it will increase the piston cylinder clearance
  21. probably 34 mm to be sure, mesure the inside bore of the carb
  22. told you how hot your pistons were just before they burnt up! thats so true! once the pyro says its too hot its usually too late dammage is done.
  23. in the motor, clucth cover ans basket have to be removed
  24. to make my transmision shift better i used a blaster stopper lever on my shift star , it has a bigger wheel which makes it roll better over the star. It worked fine and my bike stoped having shifting problems. part number 10V-18140-00-00 STOPPER LEVER ASSY $9.81
