My opinion would be carbs are too big, lack of bottom end go with 30 or 33 pwk carbs

Here's mine execpt the rear fenders are not race cut !

Ive already put a blaster engine in a yz 80 frame and the biggest problem is it was unbalanced the motor dtock out to much once the chain was enligned and it at low speed you would always feel it pulled to one side. But it would be possible to fit a banshee engine in a yz 250 frame . If your buddy kinda rides in dunes or hillclimb. The balance does not matter that much. I've already seen dirt bike with snowmobile engines which are heavier than banshee engine, As pipes you could use rz 350 pipes.

You are better with this kinda setup !!

What's different between the rz and banshee forks ? why is it better ?

13$ down the drain.......... leave the stock tube there just some guy that came out with this idea.. i d'ont think they do anything, there just there to get rid of the crossover tube.

Anyone knows where to cut a dunable override? I would like to try my own since no one makes these in canada and shipping one and back to the states would be a crazy price.....

Streamline

I will be doing the yfz rear shock conversion. I will also do the front a arm. I will keep the banshee style frame with the yfz geometrie . The frame will be narrowed in the front to be the same measurements as the yfz, so Yfz a-arms will be a direct bolt on .For the rear i will use the Yfz shock and linkage , i will cut the old shock mount off and just keep the pipe as a motor support and make a support alot higher which will not fit anymore with the stock airbox The bottom has to be modified also to bolt the yfz linkage . I will not use the yfz swingarm , which i think does not fit at all in any way on the banshee. I will make my own roundhousing swigarm banshee style wich mounts to the yfz linkage . I have started collecting yfz parts for this project and i will keep you's posted while i build this.
