    1996 spankin ass fast banshee. red and white with alba grafics, cool head 17 cc domes, toomy t-6 exaust boysen radvalves with duel stage carbon fiber reeds, stage one porting, 2 into 1 air filter with custum carb. adapter "hate it when the filters fall off. dyna ignition w/programing software. 3/8 reed spacer other than that just alot of shinny to go around and finish the look.

  1. mine is rod is stuck in my crank.. i carry a big drill bit and a pipe tap with me whereever i go.. since there is no oil or anything i just carry a plug and some tape to put back in there if it ever messes up while i am at the dunes...
  2. banshee - -- t5's- dyna-2into1 with 35pwk, rad valves with spacers. k&n on the carb. 48h.p. and 35 lbs.torque yfz450 - - - pulse charger, esr intake, dyna, - 43 hp - 27lbs torque...... same dyno my yfz will kill my banshee in the same race... food for thought, tansmision plays a big roll... haha
  3. i just tested mine out this past weekend 24mar06 and they are awesome, i was haulin ass and came up on like a 6-8 foot straight drop off, i locked up the brakes, but i still flew, landed it nicely, with the stockers i would have been over for sure, plus the jumping is way better, and they are not streching my ball joints like has been posted,,, imo, buy them, you will love the results the yfz450 shocks ,,,, just to clarify

  6. i have a set of banshee shocks for sale, they have red shock covers on them, never had the covers off so i don't know what color the springs are? i went to yfz450 shocks so i don't need them anymore.....
  7. they make tools to get them out, go to mcmaster carr web site, or msc industrial supply co. and check them out, if that don't work, breaking it is an option due to the hardness, but it will more than likely leave some in there which will make it hard to re-tap it, if yo know what i mean.. the dremal and flat head is a good option, how deep is it in the hole, i would pm me, i dont check back every day. later eric

  9. read my sig, nuff said,,,,,, i put tons of cash in that bike and am so much better off now, if you are still wanting to make it go,,,, port the head, get a hot cam and hi compression piston, bigger carb is a must as well..... the pipe did not do much, or the k&n... cam and piston around 150 - 200 carb - 200+ almost up to the price of a used yfz450
  10. i bought a set of banshee pegs off ebay and cut the peg from the mont and welded them together, i bought a set of yfz450 pegs and was going to cut them off and weld them to the mounts, instead i bought the ac propeg nerfs and the pegs are awesome, like twice as wide and like a foot long. i can put both my feet on the same peg and there is still room on the end...
  11. if you want to stay on pump gas, i would go with 21cc or bigger domes... as for timing, you could get the plate or a deg. key, depends on if you plan on adjusting it

  15. the mon test is to see how much compression it takes to detonate, right, which would make sence, high compression, more detonation unless rate for said compression
