  1. I use 32:1 for a gas bike....
  2. Here is what I've recommended for Jess aka blazinokie aka okie450 on two other sites. If you want to sell anything, sell it COD ONLY. That way it's shipped on your dime. If it takes too long, the buyer can just refuse shipping (as in he had to buy it elsewhere quicker). You've agreed on another site that you have no problem doing that. If you really want to clear your name, this should be no problem. I have no issues helping a man while they're down, giving them a second chance...etc. But a 25th chance? No. I don't give a shit if you're on an oil rig in the middle of no where. I don't care if you're on call 24/7, you found time to post a sale, you found time to take the money. Find time to ship the shit, period. It's not that hard, really...you put it in a box after you post it for sale, print a label and drop it off at USPS, FedEx or UPS. Sorry, when you change your screen name to deceive people, that just tells me a leopard can't change it's spots. Start with shipping shit COD....then people aren't out their hard earned money for months waiting on shit.
  3. Get a refund and buy one from someone reputable. This guy doesn't have a clue and obviously doesn't want to make it right. What happens when he sends a drum that isn't cut to the tranny pattern you want, you put it all together and have a problem again...? I'd nip this one in the bud.
  4. What a F'd up deal... I'm tired of people handing off the BS "I'm selling it for a friend" and not claiming responsibility. 12mm...PLEASE let us know when you plan on coming up to Michigan. We would like to prepare a proper welcome party for you, f'in scumbag low life. Glad you could at least flip it Jeff....
  5. I agree with upgrading to 35PWKs. The PJs can run in the right hands, but they are more finicky to tune and to be quite honest, just old school in design. You're gonna find pro/cons on the rest. Me personally....I won't ride a twist on a quad. I've owned dirt bikes for a long time, you sit on them different, use your legs to grip the bike.....etc. They're fine with a twist, I don't like them on a quad. Since you run a long wide open road, get a pingle (dual fuel valve) gut the gas cap and drill the vent tube out for more fuel delivery. To be honest, just buy some good replacement reeds for your stock cages, I wouldn't waste money on the VForce just yet....
  6. Gut the stock gas cap, drill the vent line to .125 (or 1/8) that will help, trust me.
  7. Big Bore kits for OEM cylinders are tough to make run... You're better off with a good solid port job then worry about aftermarket cylinders, etc. First things first. What is your budget? What parts do you already have? Where do you plan on riding it?
  8. Holy Shit blast from the past.... Good luck on the sale, this is a smoking deal on these parts.
  9. Correct. No domes sold with his head. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/merchant/chari...armrsZ1QQ_fromZ
  10. Ignition all check out? You sure there's no coolant leaking into the cylinder, possible pinched oring in the head, etc.?
  11. You're gonna pay 150 to 200 bucks without shipping in most cases. My buddy used to be able to get used pipes chrome, but a buddy of ours gave him some pipes that had a shit ton of oil in them, and that ruined that. I'd clean them inside and out best you can...brake clean, carb cleaner, etc. to get any unburnt oil/carbon out from the inside of the pipes. Good luck!!
  12. No reason to need bigger than 30 pilots in your setup... I agree on checking for an air leak...then checking ignition components. Having to run a motor ridiculously rich on jetting is another sign of an air leak.
  13. Banning IP is the best thing, but if he is a DSL customer they use Dynamically assigned IPs. That could change yearly, monthly...or even several times a day. Other ISPs change their IPs for the customers as well...usually not as frequent as DSL though. (I agree with your last statement, hell...I piss off people all the time...)
  14. zip tie it to the radiator...
  15. Has this motor been completely leak down tested. Have you tried different ignitions. Tried Fresh fuel? Taken the fuel valve out of the gas tank and checked for dirt/debris. Gut the gas cap and drill the vent tube out to .125 With those domes, angle, squish...octane and fuel will not be a problem. You should damn near be able to run it on pump gas. Is it rattling both sides out? Seeping coolant into the chamber will make it deto real quick, been there done that.
  16. My stance on all this is, if you signed up for the military, you dont' get a choice on what you do or where you go. You signed up to defend our country. I thank you for that 100%. It's not a job I want and am probably not cut out for. While I support our troops 100%, I don't want to hear about parents and relatives bitching about their children being deployed. No one held a gun to their head to join the armed forces, if you want to get paid by the government, and get college money, etc....that shit don't come free. That's what you signed up for, like it or not. Now...on the other side... I don't think that was our fight, nor is it our responsibility to stabilize the area. We can't do it. Those dumb fuck religious zealots have been fighting since the beginning of time. We're not going to change or stop that. Period. Let them kill themselves, I don't give a fuck. Stay over there. We've got MORE than enough problems on our own soil that need solving... Don't take my post wrong, I appreciate what our men and women are doing, I appreciate their courage and spirit. I thank them for that 100%. I support them. I'm just sick of seeing people on TV...W killed my son/daughter because he shipped them off to Iraq/Afghanistan, etc. NO. Your son/daughter made a conscious choice to join the armed forces and take that oath. No where in that oath does it say I can pick and choose which battles I'll fight for our country....
  17. With the motor setup correctly (methanol generally likes more timing and compression than pump fuel) you'll get 5 to 15% increase in performance. You will consume twice as much methanol and oil (premix oil) as you would gas. For running a 1/8 mile, my advice is get a fuel pump, billet bowls or both...that's a long run.
  18. I don't know if you guys have a moderator forum here just for your use or not, but that's where this topic belongs. Someone else hit the nail on the head, a 14 year old shouldn't decide if he should be banned or not. It's your site, make the decision, run with it. If 20 members leave because of this guy, GOOD...harmless and desperate thread, promise. If you want my two cents...being on a lot of forums on different levels. You can't ban him because he's a cry baby, took pot shots at the site, etc. He is promoting his own site (which is free advertising) and he's threatening to shut the site down. Those two reasons by themselves would be reasons he would've been banned without even posting a poll. While I respect you for wanting the public's opinion, this isn't a question for the public. Forums on the site, how to handle classified, rules, new headers, etc., those are good issues for the public to vote on. It is your job to protect the site and those who have a financial stake to lose, protect their interests. This to me is a no brainer.
  19. I think the banner needs some 4 strokes... LOL... J/K. Nice work, welcome breath of fresh air when i got on HQ the other day. Nice work.
  20. In my opinion, there are three stages of air filters. Airbox full (with lid, get rid of that damn snorkel) Airbox with no lid or a pro lid/modded lid or K&N type Outerwear lid Pod filters with NO airbox. I've jetted each, and they all call for a different set. Obviously, the more restrictive require less fuel/less jet.
  21. Yes, but he's still running an airbox...I got that part.
  22. Wow....you guys run that fat of jetting with an airbox at 4200 feet? 270 to 290 main is what we run in that setup at or near sea level. Two questions that need to be asked. Rider weight and riding temps?
  23. We ride in Clarksville a LOT, see how far that is from you. We'll ride in Ionia a few times (GREAT TRACK) and Port Huron is opening a new track and has good people behind it. First few times out might be a little hectic due to the new layout and peeps, but...should be good, too. We also ride west michigan as well, and we're co-sponsoring and event at Bonne Terre in MO later this year.
  24. That is seriously impressive, no duct tape and bubble gum there. Nice build, very clean, etc. Can't wait for a ride report and matching video. I think you mean 17 degrees of total timing? If you mean 17 degrees in addition to the curve built into your stock CDI...that'll be problems....
  25. Pro Truck Nationals at Cleves, OH. Friday May 15 and Saturday May 16th. I attached the flyer, it is NOT the official flyer, the sponsors, etc. have not all been finalized. But the dates, classes, etc. have been. Sorry to muddy this guys thread up. See you there!
