  1. Honestly, you adjust the idle by the choke knob, can it really be that bad? If you're getting a 38mm for next to nothing, it sure won't hurt to try it, as long as you can sell it for what you have into it or turn a small profit, I see no reason not to at least give it a shot.
  2. I don't know of anyone else cutting them for 6th gear. I also know you literally have to come to a 100% complete stop before you think about down shifting. Not a slow roll, dead nuts stop. WCR makes very nice trannies....but the turn around and communication is pretty shitty...especially as of late.
  3. Not trying to sound like a dick, but do you have any proof or other? We haven't had a good reed discussion on here in a while...Again, not doubting you, just looking for facts to support that claim, that's all.
  4. Depends...shop around in your area with a tradin times, bike trader, online, Craig's list...etc. That's an average deal around here.... Just to make sure...did he say anything about a stroker crank in it? That could change things. Stu...I think a stock bore or .020 with a 4 mil is about that....not 100% certain on that, and I'm too lazy to do the math. As said, what all does it include...and does it compare with others in your locale in similar condition. Out west if that bike is somewhat clean, it's a steal!!
  5. Dale... I run the stuffers...don't know why, just got them. A buddy runs a 14 mil cub on nitrous leaves the stock stuffers in there, and that bike rips. So...unless you're going bigger than that....I'd leave it as is...

  13. Honestly, have someone ID mic the cylinders, OD mic the pistons, and check for clearances....
  14. They clymers manual refers to the stock spring height, throw that out the window when you go aftermarket springs. If they're HD springs and a year old, I'm sure they're fine...
  15. Wait a sec....it's all coming back to me. They might make an A, B and C piston kit. You hone the cylinders...keep the stock bore, but a .0030 piston kit might tighten it up....hmmm....let me think.

Now that you mentioned it homie....my bud did get the HRC kit for his before he went hog wild with a huge motor, I know it came with a gutted air box lid, cam and a different end cap for the stock can. I know it came with jets, I'm not sure which/how many and what kind, though.... I'm due to call him and tell him he's gay and a slow 4 stroker....I'll try to remember to ask him...
  17. Do you have free play when it is cold at the end of your lever... Where the lever meets the perch, you should be able to fit a nickel in between them before the clutch cable starts to grab. If that is adjusted to tight, chances are you're burning up your clutch being out of adjustments and it's not disengaging all the way...
  18. I'm going to assume you mean for a banshee... First bore is .020, then .010 additional after that. So... .030, .040...and so on. Once you get to .080, that's your last safe bore in my opinion. They sell a .090 and .100 kit...but the walls are so thin, it's a time bomb...tick tick tick. First off, check your numbers. Wiseco does not make a .0030 kit of oversized pistons that I know of (US Measurements). The Metric increments are by .25 mm 64.00 is stock, 64.50 (.020), 64.75 (.030), and so on...
  19. I've never been a fan of Jet kits...too generic. I'd rather buy just the jets I need...through trial and error. No jet kit I've ever seen for a banshee has ever come with pilots... I'll have to ask some of my four stroke brethren if theirs comes with pilots. I think they're the same as me, research...and buy the jets they think they need, tune in from there...

  21. My FAST clutch went through 05 on my stock motor, 06 on my 4 mil cub and all of this year on my 10 mil cub/alky. It don't look nothin like that... Loose or worn parts, mis-adjusted....something ain't right, those things are burned up fo sho.... What do your basket, inner and outer hub look like? Springs rarely, if ever go bad... What about the adjustment....is the arm properly adjusted? I'm on my 3rd year of abuse on my clutch, badassbanshee I think has that much and more on his clutch....something mechanically doesn't add up partner.

  25. Your jetting sounds fine for 5000 feet. How long did you run these plugs in the bike...? Any more pics?
