  1. If it is a stock head, there isn't. Unless someone had it cut to accept orings...unlikely in your case. Unless you have an aftermarket head (cool head, pro design, etc.)...
  2. Possible stripped gear on the WP, or the impeller is coming apart as well. It could be sealed but not circulating coolant properly, causing it to overflow. BansheeDan just found out his water pump was shot, bike ran real hot...but, it wasn't leaking coolant anywhere... Get the coolant fixed first, then worry about the airbox lid and your jetting...
  3. Hate to say it...but you need to leak down test that bike if the electrical checks out. My 4 mil cub acted just like you're describing, started easy...seem to rev ok in Neutral, put it in gear and it falls on it's face. Had a bad air leak...and it held good compression on a Snap On Gauge. Normally an air leak won't show on a static compression gauge. Just a thought.
  4. Unfortuneately, Shane...I talked to Roger. They've been getting hit with quite a bit of rain lately...and looks like it's raining there all day today...as well as tomorrow morning. We might have another mud bog, I don't expect any impressive times out of any of us tomorrow... On a side note, someone bring a straw or two in case Dan steps in a mud puddle...
  5. I will see your monopoly money, and raise you professor Plum, in the Library...with a candle stick. Don't make me bust out the chutes and ladders.....
  6. You ever look into the voice activated ones, Stu? I'd be afraid to mistake the PTT button for the N2O button....HELLLOOOO....
  7. With any luck for you, you might be able to run my current pipes, and big bore OOF (my new pipes) just to see the difference... If I'm supplying all the pipes, you're buying the beer!!!
  8. J-Madd...sorry to get off track. I got two people on the hook for them. However, I won't sell them until my new pipes are here, on my bike, mounted...etc. I would much rather hand them to you, then box and ship them. However, it's not fair to me to take much less from you when I can get good money for them shipped... Mabye after labor day, we can get some Dyno time over at Lakes....and we can see what they do!!
  9. I've got the pipes you need...but, you know the price... Just waiting on my new ones...should have 'em next week.
  10. Heard about your uncle last week, JT...sorry to hear the news man... I think I've got him talked out of alky till he can do it up right. I can tell you once he's setup, though...with a lightened frame, drag axle, and the "Motor" he's gonna build, we are going to have our hands full..... I'll let the air out of one rear tire JT, you get the other.... Either that, or we put a "Desert Seat foam" on his bike so he can't touch the footpegs... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  11. After thinking about this...yeah, Shane's bike is a little lighter... (Sorry JT...it's Friday ya know...LOL ) Between Marvin Shaws and a drag axle, that's a considerable amount of weight....20lb or so!! Good point...
  12. A little bitch slap, if you will....LOL... I hope you get your arm too, bro...he's just way too shady to trust.
  13. I think I should be more worried about JT running with my 10 mil...huh? LOL.... We all run within 1 to 3 tenths of eachother....and that just makes for good racing. We all have a little bit of setup to run and figure out...but it's been coming down to rider. JT's bike isn't much heavier...Jeff. Shane's bike has a drag axle. JT's frame has been lightened more than Shane's has...they both have factory full front suspension. There is without a doubt a rider weight advantage....JT and I are in the FBT category and heavy hitters class...we just need to build bigger motors, losing weight is too much work...LOL... As soon as I get my bike setup the way I want Jeff...I'm coming for YOU!!! :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  14. Told you I'd give you a steal on my axle....and two sprockets I have for it, 39 and 44...
  15. Suuurrreee..... Nice try.... So...what you're really saying is "Somebody else from YOUR house is using CubBanshee"...on your computer. Yeah, we get it....not.
  16. Actually....he said pp, not pb. he might have 2/3 of the...oh, well you know..... Sorry, had to..
  17. NOOOOOO.... You jet the bike according to it's fuel and air needs, regardless of the size of the carb. Putting smaller jets in the carb does not make it act like a smaller carb...it leans out your air/fuel ratio...and things go BOOM.... Smaller engines in general....don't have the intake velocity to make good use of a larger carb.
  18. So...let me get this straight... You've never gone by CubBanshee on Planet Sand...so you say. Yet that same name, EXACT same spelling using upper case and lower case is over on another site selling the same item there as you are here? Apparently, you think we're as stupid as you are...nice try....Someone by the same IP address used that same name on planet sand. So....yeah, it's from YOUR HOUSE.... Good luck pedaling your shit here or there....
  19. No...the pic on the left has a stuffer from Cascade. The shiny, aluminum piece around the outside of the reed opening is actually an insert. http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...ORE_DEPT_ID=341
  20. Snop is the man to talk to for that question.... I'm sure his 35 jetting isn't WAY off compared to what you'll need to run. Generally a lot larger main...and a few up on the pilot compared to running a pair of them...
  21. Wow...you've been caught. According to this thread...you've never gone by "CubBanshee"...on PS. Yet you use that name here? For the same arm? Smells just a tad fishy.... http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread...861/#Post677162 About the 12th or so post down, didn't you just say you "Never posted" under any of those names. Yet here on a different forum, you're selling the same arm under one of those names... Anyone else draw the conclusion???
  22. Wes...is that a semi-drying liquid gasket like the "bonds....? That's nice info to know if so....thanks!!
  23. You're kidding, right? Turn the air screw in until it is lightly seated, do NOT crank on it. Notice the position...turn it out ...when the screw driver blade makes a 180 degree turn, that's 1/2 a turn, or .5. 360 degree rotation is 1 full turn... You could a marker if needed, but remembering the slot of the screw at the seated position should work fine...if you have that short of a memory...I feel for ya.... The power jets on my old carbs (externally adjustable main jet) had no markings whatsoever, so I painted a small white stripe on them with white out so I could count the turns...same theory. I used White out stripe, you would use the channel in the screw for the blade of the screwdriver....
  24. Any way you can back that up with dyno runs then time slips?? Again, not a knock....I think we'd all appreciate saving a few bucks for a worthy setup....that is backed up with numbers... I like my Vforce 3's...but yeah, they're pricey...
  25. As said...JT will probably be your best help. You guys are pretty much running identical setups...except he has a full on drag port, from the same builder. That won't vary on alky by very much....and he's spent some time getting that bike tuned it...it's paying off. It runs pretty good for a 4mil!! fouledout420 has the best running 4 mil cub I've seen in person to date. However, his is a McCoy motor and what works for him might not necessarily work for you...you'll find most builders set theirs up to run differently....a little detail here and there. (Sorry Jeffro...not a knock on you. But JT will agree...the time slips aren't lying...Shane's bike is movin out!!!)
