  1. I've had two of his stock Watt stators die in less than a year. The second was a warranty... I really wish someone would come up with an alternative to RS for stators. They used to be a top notch company, now it's just China Junk. I thought stock was 85W, but I could be wrong as well....
  2. Tony...please post up a picture. Thanks.
  3. That link doesn't work.
  4. Bingo...we have a winner... I would take the carb off, leave the top off...and just drop the slide in. Look through the back, turn the idle screw in and see if it'll even raise the slide. If not, as said...shorten that spring up. It should be able to lift the slide 1/16 to roughly 1/8...
  5. How about a pic of the Lectrons, who set them up? If you still got them...I've got two or three buddies that want that exact carb. We have 39's on gas with or without a fuel pump.... Tony, how much do you want for them cash outright?
  6. You can tailor power characteristics to a certain extent with dome shape and size, generally speaking. Methanol and gas have two different explosion characteristics, they also burn at different rates and temps.
  7. Hit up RJATV... John should have 'em.
  8. if yamaha11 got it from who I think, my buddy cut it. It's a Whitaker Cut drum, 1-5 N down dunable. We've got at least 30 to 40 of them out there, not a single failure....
  9. Joe... That stuff is already blinged out...why don't you just keep the carrier and brake plate and swap it out with 40mm bearings. Gotta be easier....
  10. I have Dan Wade @ Patriot cut my domes....for alky. I just bought 5 sets for my bike and a couple buddies bikes/builds.
  11. You forgot to add lol....you fucking nutswinger.
  12. I have a set of front and rear struts done by BBIII which are not only very nice looking, but well built and nicely adjustable. I agree with firehead....this is one of those things where what good is saving a few bucks if your ass is no longer around to spend it. BBIII makes a nice strut, maybe you can persuade him to build you a set.
  13. Use the Search Feature, it's been covered. We all know how it is "supposed to work" and the idea behind it. Like it's been said 1,000,000 times, it doesn't do anything. It will not give you better response, it will not make more horsepower, it will get in your way, it could crack the intake boots. Nobody talks trash about the stock crossover because they didn't pay any extra for it...and it came on the bike. It wasn't labeled "boost tube" and sold for 15 to 25 bucks.... Truth be told, plug the holes with bolts, use hose clamps to make sure they're sealed, and make sure the bolt doesn't protrude into the intake path. You'll never, ever notice a difference either way, good or bad.
  14. there is a track 2 hours away...we rent it...and have 10-15 people go. In 4 hours you can EASILY get 20 to 30 passes if you'd like... But I hear you...I hate the wait.
  15. There is simply not enough intake signal to make a single 39 work on a stocker. 33 would probably be ideal. ON a larger, built motor, 36-39...but usually once you get to that stage, you'll want dual carbs.
  16. All the 1-5 dunable we've done have three different size springs. They go between the shift forks themselves, and in between the fork and the case. I can get you a diagram which goes where, and I can get you the springs as well Jarid...let me know.
  17. Don't know about that...I got a 465 banshee that will hold it's own against one of these....LOL..
  18. It's all good...I just thought it was a funny read. Speed/performance wise...I'm sure that thing hauls the mail!!!
  19. So that's how it is over there in Japan...huh? ROFL
  20. No offense, but that's also the weekend of the ATV Bash at West Michigan...
  21. Buying expensive spark plugs is just like buying expensive oil, etc. If that's what you're happy running, etc., that's fine, it's your money... I assume you're running the Irridium plugs. (EIX plugs) Tried them...and those 8 dollar plugs run the same as the 2 dollar in my experience....and in my personal bike.
  22. Yep...pros: Cheaper, more readily available at an auto parts store Cons: breaks down and should be changed more freequently.
  23. Pump gas and it shows less than a dynojet? 70ish....maybe.
  24. I usually get my plugs from AutoZone or Pep Boys.... About 2 bucks a plug... That's a great price on 4 plugs, but throw in the shipping, it's not steal. Compared to what a dealer wants for plugs, it's great...but cheapo BR8ES plugs are average 2 bucks each or so...
  25. With the right rider, I'm sure it would hand most guys their ass pretty good. It's only on a 6 over arm, plus all that weight missing up front...I bet it's a wheelie machine. Is it gonna beat some cub drag bike setup right? No... but it does have a McCuny carb, and those are very hard to come by....legendary in fact..so you never know...
