  1. Should work, I have the same number.
  2. Honestly, there is no way a heavier flywheel is going to add anything, torque or horsepower UNDER THROTTLE, ain't happening. It's just the opposite, it takes more power to accelerate and to maintain the rotating mass. Off throttle, yes, the flywheel will then transfer it's stored energy back to the drive train. Anything our motors have to rotate, chains, sprockets, wheels, tires etc... The heavier they are the more power it takes to turn them and the flywheel is no exception. The positive side to a normal or heavier flywheel is the ability of the engine to maintain RPM, especially when changing gears. The lighter the flywheel the quicker the drop in RPM when off throttle.
  3. Good!! Where you been? Nope won't make rat fest. I'm getting more and more where I like to go when there's less people. You going bhq ride or what?
  4. Make sure your flywheel is not touching the pick-up coil, also does it change when you pull in your clutch?
  5. This is the last weekend in march right? Sorry didn't want to scroll back. If some people are goin Thursday, I could probably make it that evening, maybe do some night riding.
  6. PM Jeff on here (FASTOYS) he has them.
  7. The temperature differential method is actually recommended for bearing installation on most if not all spherical bearings. I heated the inner race of the bearing about 6 or so seconds with a micro torch. Then they slide on and off like butter.
  8. Get some marine grade vinyl, 9 bucks a yard compared to 5. You shouldn't be that hard up to save 4 bucks.
  9. Those look awesome!!! What is the volume on those?
  10. If you have a lock-out clutch, you need a lock-in powerban or your clutch will lock in and your powerban will lock out. Everyone knows that.
  11. Planet Sand? Never heard of it.
  12. Yea if that's where the posse's stayin.
  13. White goes pretty good with chrome. Diamond ice (harley color) and silvers like Travis's banshee look great, I think. Main reason I don't like to break up or have something stand out more than the chrome and motor etc.. I like something that blends in well. I used a 304 metallic GM silver.
  14. Cool, I added you to my posse, we'll get together sometime to update the group picture.
  15. Looks like you already have. lol
  16. Big difference though a drag port with fmf pipes is like shaving your lawnmowers frame to save weight. You want a drag port, you need a pipe that will compliment or work together synergistically. Talk with your builder and he will have recommendations on the pipes for his porting style.
  17. A lot of truth to that. When I was a member of the CBR929.net forum, there was a member there in his 70's that rode the thing all over the U.S.
  18. It's looking pretty good, though I'll probably still have to leave on Saturday. You?
  19. :yelrotflmao: I'm not quite that old yet but hope to still be riding when I am. I'll be 36 in a few months.
  20. It should still flex no matter how tight you get it.
  21. Mine snap, must be the cubs though.
  22. Me too. I'm still waiting for my spring soccer schedule to come out and see if I can work it around this trip
  23. That's funny right there. Hey Denny, I see you posting more, the snow got you stuck inside?
  24. Wow, can't believe the problem people have. I hope people aren't confusing the 2 sellers on ebay, fastnerguy and alloyboltz. I bought both kits and had the problems you guys are talking about with fastnerguys products but not Russ from alloyboltz. I talked to him several times (before he died) and he always used higher grade stainless for critical components. I've yet to ever snap anything from his kit and every bolt on my bike is stainless minus the upper a-arm bolts, carrier pinch bolts and upper rear shock bolt. Otherwise case, intakes head everything is from Russ. I wonder if they now use a different supplier?
  25. I think Trinity has the most high tech head out, meaning they put a lot of R&D in the design to make it the most efficient and functional head on the market. Noss heads are designed well also.
