  2. honestly i could care less if you beleive me, i don't get on the internet for fame and glory
  3. get what you want but there is nothing like the punch that a mildy modded banshee can produce
  4. thats where i started out. i sure am glad i found this place and www.planetsand.com is good site too
  5. i think i could take a cr 250, i have ridden both and it doesn't feel half as strong as my shee. when i get it back together i will have to find one but i've got a couple of mods
  6. well i would love to buy it for next to nothing!!!!! lemme know how much and where to send it yea i happen to already have the cases split and i was planning on putting it back together tommorow. and i was wondering if i should put them in prior or afterwards i'm a mechanic and on all the timing belt jobs at work i replace the same kinda seals in cam's and crank's by sliding them on the shaft with a little grease on'em. i kinda figured i would do the same with this

  8. You must be doing something wrong. I never have problems with my banshee, and I ride the motherfucker hard. I dunno, just doesnt seem right that you should be having so many problems. 284060[/snapback] nah i don't really blame the bike. i just bought it and after running my 3rd tank of gas through it the engine locked up and i have replace everything in the motor and reslleve one cylinder, but as i tore it down i found that the previous owner had the engine put together with alot of missing parts and things installed incorrectly so i don't blame the bike, i will put everything back as its supposed to be and i think i will keep the thing for a long time to come, i LOVE having a kick starter and the way the bike corners, runs, jumps, and i LOVE smoking all my friends with dirtbikes so i still love the shee and can't wait to get it back together
  9. do you install them after you put the cases back together or before you put the caes together?
  10. i gotta tell ya man, i just got my shee and i am already putting a new crank , and new cylinder sleeve's in it. i love the way it rides but they seem to give ALOT of problems. i am gonna put it back together and hope i don't get anymore problems out of it for a while. if i do i may get rid of it and get a 250r or something else
  11. you need to take the top end off and inspect it for damage, before you tear it up any further do this and then report back btw 2 strokes are possibly the easiest thing you could ever work on, no timing chains or cams . once you take it apart its nothing
  12. check for any air leaks and make sure you are easy on it since its got new rings, i would also mix the gas a little richer than normal
