  1. i think ur exactly right on that, i did re-hone the cylinders, but the head is a prodesign coolhead, the rubber gaskets (rubber bands?) were a little stretched out and didnt fit well especially around the 22cc domes, its probably not sealed correctly, its done it before but an easy fix at least, ill get on that, thanks for the help oh yea, i didnt really mean the part about trading for a 4 stroke, i know better...

OK, got it movin, motor runs great, except its bailing white smoke out of right pipe, and the clutch is almost completely gone, cant find neutral and its really hard to shift into any gear. so the clutch is gone, but whats with all the smoke? its white with a slightly burnt smell, smells alot like the mix though, but what do you thing in up with it? other side is perfect.
  3. ok, found a new bit or information, my brother pulled the plugs and cranked it to check for a spark, and it arced to the frame. would that present a problem?
  4. ok... i tore everything apart and replaced the wiseco rings, put it alll back together, primed the motor, replaced the plugs, checked to see if i had spark, then tried to fire it up. no responce..... what now? getin pissed................... BTW... whats a good fast 4-stroke that i DONT have to tear into every 60 hours!? Also, 2001 banshee, prodesign coolhead, toomey t-5's, whites bro's boost bottle, douglas rims, shock covers, Wiseco's, V-force reeds, any one think i can get $3500 for it? it looks great!
  5. i smelt a burning smell coming out of my right side pipe, and checked to see i have no tranny fluid, what kind does a banshee use and y would it be gone? would that explain the burnt smell?
  6. takes a really long freakin time to get it into 6th, probably half mile or more, then 3/4 to a mile to get the front walking really bad, it finnaly scares the piss outta me near a mile, thats where theres no more go left in it. its not very practical, im workin on geting 19 inch tires and fixin the ratios back closer to stock. i talked to the guys i bought it off of, and yes, they purposely fixed it like that. oh, and its not just pipes, whoever said that, (pro-design cool heads, whites bro's boost bottle, wisco pistons bored over .020, extended swingarm(+2 i think) and of course toomey t-5's), and i had my brother reclock me in a 200 foot time trap, and its actually closer to 99 than 98 according to my numbers, 1.38 seconds for 200 feet? is that about right?

P.S. the guys i bought it off of were complete speed freaks, they werent into racing or even riding much, they just wanted to go as fast as humanly possible on as many machines as they could own, that explains the gearing and tires i would think. i really need to change it up so its more practical to ride! not enough low end to be driving slow, not that ill ever need to drive slow but NYUK, ur right, it is too fast, im not worthy of this machine either way

  9. i had to go count, it looked like 18/39 to me, is that adequate? with 22" tires on the back, i really need to take down my ratios so im not runnin 4.8 through 300ft... please dont kill me, u know maybe the speedometer on the mustang was a lil off?
  10. my front keeps coming up at speeds over 85mph, uhh, not that i drive that fast (sorry dad) any suggestions (other than dont get caught)?

  13. im runnin 2 sizes larger than stock on the jets, should i go back to stock? and do i need to replace the needle?

  15. 2000 banshee with prodesign cool heads, klutz oil, white bros boost bottle, k&n filter, timing plate, toomey T-5's, havent had it on a serious ride yet, just some high revving in the back field, mostly 60 ft drag riding, but planning on mostly low rev cruising this fall
