I'm new to the banshee world, I have a YFZ 450 and I just inherited a banshee from my buddy. For now it is just a project bike for me. Before even starting it I changed plugs, oil, clutch and took the carbs apart and cleaned them out. I noticed the TORS that sit on top of the carbs had 2 broken screws on the top (one on each TORS). I decided to look around for replacement TORS and found out that you can bypass them but it involves drilling holes in the carbs, for what reason I don't know. Now my question is......is it worth replacing the TORS or by passing them, any pros and cons about either setup would be a good to know. And what exactly do the TORS do?
