Loco, I have heard that its as easy as going on-line these days.. But like what climbr eluded to its a matter of knowing which company and when.. But overall I think climber is right... About 190 degrees-lol.. I usually see temps everywhere from 180-200 with normal to harder riding.. Your motor being fresh and tight maybe a tad warm but otherwise 190 is just fine.. I start looking to shut mine down around 210 or so.. Glad to hear your happy with your mods. Who did your port work? RIPPEN

My first time I shipped my motor we built a crate outta plywood and 2x4s but the problem with that is it ads quite a bit of weight.. The second time my motor traveled I bought one of those big HD plastic totes with a lid n shit.. Packed it in ther good with paper or whatever and you should be good to go.. The first time I sent mine was through UPS but I don't recomend them.. The price was ok then but their shipping rates have gone through the roof since.. I understand that SOME feel that because the plastics will get scratched up again they shouldn't do what they can to keep them nice or restore them.. However if you hold that mindset then why change the oil on a car if its just gonna need it again lol< (joke) But seriously my bike gets beat up and will again and again, but I still try to keep it nice or repair it.. This is simply not true.. This is better.. I used the plastic renew kit on mine and was quite happy with the results as well.. As long as the scratches arn't real deep or gouges then you can get them out or atleast make them much less noticeable.. I had some healthy scratches in my plastics but used the kit and they turned out nice.. The kit as I remember(been a couple years) comes with several different grits of sand paper and then the "coating" stuff for the shine.. It took me a while with the sanding as you gotta do the usual "step down" methoud but like I said depending on the depth of the scratches will obviously determine how long your gonna be workin it.. Then after all that is done it tells you how to apply the stuff they give.. Before running off and buy new plastics I would atleast give it a shot.. As I remember the kit was like 15-20 bucks.. Also if you have any white areas from the plastic being bent a heat gun is the best way I have found to take those out.. Just make sure you don't get it TO hot.. RIPPEN

Not true.. I have had my mech NON liqid filled autometer on mine for three seasons now(two of which were a ton of riding) and its still going strong. Also I would argue that if done right the guages similar to my size don't look bad if done correctly and actually help to make the bike look a bit different. Not to mention since I have put mine on three years ago I havn't had to touch it not one time, worked without any problems... RIPPEN

Yeah the mans been busy as hell for quite sometime for sure. However a couple days ago I had talked to him and he said that he is actually starting to catching up.. For quite a while when I had seen threads like this I didn't even mention him because I knew he was swamped and turnaround was way out.. But now it sounds like he will be able to do some porting and have it back in a reasonable time.. So, although he may not be able to have it back in two weeks as people are saying Kevin can(which is amazing btw) I think he is to the point to where the turnaround is reasonable.. Maybe he will chime in and be able to give everyone a ballpark for that.. But like you said Loco, there is deffnatly a reason why he is almost always hammered.. RIPPEN

I know there are a few guys on here that follow UFC so I was curious if any of you follow the show or have this season at least... So far I think Mir is a fucking ass hat and a disrespectful one at that and Iam really starting to like Big Nog.. Guy is a classy and humble guy and I like how he is working with his guys.. I hate Junie Browning.. Seems to have some serious skill and talent but is nothing more than a complete asshole and a idiot drunk to boot.. I hate guys that drink, act like assholes and then cry like little bitches.. I predict him to be the most disliked fighter in the UFC if he indeed does win or get a contract which I imagine he will..
