Not sure of the riding your doing but id be thinking about trying a different carb and pipe set-up over the larger crank first. Just have heard of allot of guys bumping up to the larger strokes and not finding the bang for buck ratio they were hoping for. Iam not speaking from experience on this but just what I have heard around campfires with people who do have the exp so I maybe mistaken. Just something to think about, again, allot of it would depend on what riding your doing or are after.. RIPPEN

Simply not correct.. Except for the length of threads on the adapter part.. :thumbsup: Cajun here has it.. Its important to have a correct tester. The one you describe I wouldn't trust anymore than throwing darts at a board with PSI readings on it. You could try but so little makes such a huge difference. Otherwise, take out BOTH plugs, your gonna be kickin like a mofo, this helps to let her turn over a bit easier.. Hold at WOT, this actually lets the air in to get the reading. Has to fight through that carb your gonna be looking at a leg that may feel as though its gonna fall off to get the # up. Like Cajun said, kick untill it stops. If I remember correct I think I usually have to kick 35-40+ to get there. RIPPEN

Others Iam sure will chime in but, Iam sure your fine.. 6 psi for 6 minutes is the big thing and even at that if I remember correct even if it dropped down to the 5psi in 6 you would probably still be fine. RIPPEN

Guy's wow.. Iam at a loss for words right now that you all would be willing to help me out like this. Thank you all for being so quick to help. However I cant accept. Iam extreamly fortunate that through this I did have insurance and Aflac. Therefore I will more than likely have some bills but hopefully nothing I cant handle. Many of you put up your thoughts and prayers to me while I was in and out of the hospital. That in itself was a great contribution and I appreciate it so much. People on here never stop amazing me with their acts of giving and kindness to people of whom they have never met. There are many other people in rough situations right now that are not as fortunate as I and are therefor more deserving of such a selfless act. All that should ever be expected of a person is honesty. Tell her straight up this is what you want and if she isn't down, tell her to bounce.. Some of this shit is getting pretty petty and its gonna prompt us to be more proactive on gettin on peoples asses.. I have been in and out of the hospital the last couple weeks and going through a rough time the couple weeks before. Therefore I havn't been able to patrol or"babysit" the for sale section like I was.. Now that Iam on more Iam start crackin down on this type of shit. If a guy is trying to hide something from folks or screw someone then awesome, let everyone know.. But these petty acusations and comments are not need and starting to piss me off. The Hughes, Serra fight was pretty lame. At least Hughes won. I give Evans a shot but thats about it. Machida although not the most exciting fighter I would argue is one of the smartest. Name one other fighter that has taken less damage in thier career than this guy. Good luck. Evans has a chance to catch him but good luck there too. Feelin a bit better today.. Spirits are up a bit more and the pain is a bit less so hopefully here on out things will improve rapidly. Actually sleepin in my own bed last night was really nice! Still feeling pretty weak and almost feel like Iam getting over a cold or something, so that feels weird. But like I said overall I feel improved. Weighed myself yesterday. Day my girlfriend left one month ago I was right around 210-212. Yesterday I weighed 188. Deffinatly not the weight loss program I had hoped for but should help on that race weight-lol.. For a while hell, I hope I never have to be in a damn hospital again. The first stay of three days wasn't bad but this last one has about mentally killed me. Its amazing the toll it takes on a person to be cooped up and unable to do anything.. You are correct my friend. Lab results cam back and it looks like the meds are doing the trick and I thank god for it. The amount of pain I have been in, in the last three weeks mental and physical has been unreal. You all def helped with the mental side.. Just hard as hell on a person.. So yeah. Basically what the deal was, my gallbladder was so infected and nasty that the tiny piece they left inside me didn't get taken care of by the antibiotics my first stay. They have to leave a tiny piece because if they cut it off the liver it causes bleeding and all sorts of problems. So I had been having pains here and there but thought they were do(some were) to the gas they use for the operation.. On Monday at 11:00 I had one of these "attacks" and due to my drain(from surgery) being weird I had already put a call into my doc. When I talked to the nurse and told her what I was feeling she sounded concerned and said she would call me back. She talked to the doc and said for me to come in right away for lab work as it didn't sound right.. Went in and the results showed something was wrong and so they ordered a cat scan. The contrast is NASTY shit to drink, especialy in a shit ton of pain. Did the cat scan and found a small amount of fluid and inflammation. Thats when they realized had a bit of a infection going. They admitted me that evening so at that time I had been in pain about 11 hours before getting pain meds.. I had taken 2 vicodin twice within that time but it did nothing. They put me on morphine and precaset(sp) but that ended up making me feel shitty and not helping so we changed to phenol(I think the name is) but was basically the same.. Just felt groggy and like hell.. They ended up taking me off that because they said the amount I was taking they were afraid I would stop breathing. Also they were giving some pretty high caliber antibiotics to fight the infection. The alternative could have gone as far as MAJOR surgery so Iam so thankful to got they antibiotics seem to be doing the trick.. Oh another thing that sucked is because they were worried about blood clots I had to get a shot in my stomach, nasty some bitches. Now I have a little pain here and there but for the most part feel much better.. Actually slept most of the night last night so that was good. Again thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and support. Really nice to see this kind of support from everyone and it couldn't have come at a better time. Even now I feel really down but know it will just take a little more time. Thanks again to all of you! RIPPEN

Thanks again fellas and ladies. Got my blood tests back this morning and the had improved. Still some stuff the docs are wanting to see improved before they let me roll out. The pain has gone down considerably so that helps but my moral and spirits is about shot. Just kinda mentaly wore out from all thats happened as of late. Thats why Iam so appreciateive of this thread as seeing such a large amount of you turn out in support has been huge for me and Iam very greatfull. Thank each and everyone of you. Just a matter of hoping the good lord is hooking me up with good test results in the morning and maybe I will be able to spring out of here. Thanks again guys! RIPPEN

I agree.. In your case I feel they would be overkill.. If you plan on getting some port work and maybe like a 4mill crank or something it may not be a bad idea to snag them up and hold onto them.. Otherwise your much better off with stockers for the time. I think your thinking they have a good rep mostly because they are so commonly used or recommended. There are so many people that fall into the category of needing a size right around there. Good aggressive dune port with some inframe drag pipes can start to utilize these carbs and throw in a 4mill crank and they really run well.. They are a good carb but I have also heard of allot of people running 34mm PJ's and being very happy with them.. I also think allot of people find them appealing because so many run them that finding tips and jetting help is pretty easy. I run the 35PWKs on mine and have always been happy with them..
