Yeah, I talked to Jeff again and he told me that I would be fine with my set-up. I don't do taht much dragging to justify spending the extra money on it. I think it would be better spent on shocks..........

If you have to replace your crank anyway then go the extra mile and get the stroker. But you should contact Jeff and he will tell you what other options you have for future mods (ie long rod or standard, porting etc.). This way you can do it all at once and not tear the motor down fifteen times.......... :thumbsup:

I think I would try the silicone idea before I messed with the locktite..........

No offense, but could also be that someone was in a hurry to go ridin' and thought that it was tight, but really wasn't and ran it 'til it tore up the cylinder.............. :shrug:

I vote for the chroming, because as much work as its going to be you could chrome them and they will look much nicer and you never have to worry about rust. If you polish them down to bare metal they will rust and the clear coat paint will wear off where you have your boots and any other rubbed places........ :thumbsup:

How is the dunable over-ride, and does it make that much of a difference. I have the shift shaft mod and the lockout, shift star mod and think that I am going to try it that way before I look at the over-ride. How does that work exactly, and what do they run as far as cost. I think for the amount of dragging I do compared to the amount of duning, I will be fine with what I got......... :thumbsup:

Take the vin number to the DMV and let them know that you have a shee that has a lost title. They will print one out again and if you aren't the registered owner then you can get paperwork from the current owner to transfer the title................ :thumbsup:

After 911 our world changed, because it opened up america's eyes to the fact that there are people out there that do want to kill and attack us. Prior to this, most people thought that foreign countries would not dare attack this country and just like Pearl Harbor they were wrong. We had to strike back after 911 and if we didn't it would send a message to the rest of the world that we are weak. It was the best time to attack and fight back because americans were pissed off. But now that people are getting tired of hearing about 911 and Flight 93, the twin towers, they are criticizing what is being done. Go watch these movies (more like docu-dramas) and then you might remember why this was all started in the first place. Or see old footage of people jumping out of the 80th floor of the North tower because they had no place else to go and new they would probably die. This is not going to be a quick and speedy conflict, but we all new it never would be because nobody could tell how this would end. If we don't take the fight to the people, they are going to bring it to us. Except next time it may be your brother, mother, grandma, cousin, or neighbor that is not fighting with a weapon in their hand and gets their life snuffed out because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time............ :shoothead:

Thats exactly why I don't buy anything off the internet, unless I can verify that the business exists (brick and mortar storefront, call Bett. Busi. Bur.). When it comes to private sellers I would have to be referred by a friend or a member on here that I have talked to (PM'ed) on more than one occasion. I trust a lot of people on the HQ, but those are long time members that have many posts and other member's can vouch for there honesty. No offense to anyone, but swindler's will try to steal your money anywhere they can and a newbie on the HQ is no exception. Engine ice shouldn't be mixed with anything, or the properties of the fluid will change. If you are just adding a little bit to top off you chould be ok, but I would keep an eye on your motor temp. Well good luck with your ride.............. :thumbsup:

VP and Sunoco are probably the most widely used brands, and if you want to fit a particular need then yes look at VP's special blends for specific purposes (ie. two stroke racing motor's). Or just call around and find out who has the better prices. Around me I can get Race fuel for $5.15 a gallon clear on up to $9.00 a gallon for the same stuff (they really proud of their gas container's I think). Good luck man.......... :thumbsup:

Yeah, you need to search and find out which computer components you are interested in. The parts for my first computer I got from a computer show and saved like $1000 from retail. The second computer I built was from parts from the first and places like TigerDirect, Directron, and Mwave are pretty comparable on their prices............ :thumbsup: About the obsolete thing in three months, welcome to the build it yourself computer world. Once a company releases a new product, they have already been working on the newer and faster model for the last year and a half. It is extremely competitive, so the faster they can get the product out the better................ ::

I guess my New Years was pretty quiet. I just went up the street to a friends house and drank beer all night until the ball dropped, then drank 'til about 2 then went to bed. Not as as exciting as some of you........... :yelrotflmao:

If the democratic congress falls on their faces between now and then, then they may not have this thing in the bag yet. I mean their whole stand for the recent elections was bring the troops home and the big mistake that the current administration made. But recently I have been hearing about congress wanting to strengthen the troop levels, so it sounds like they are doing a little back peddling. Dems or Reps are all the same it just depends on which ones get caught doing bad things, and when they get caught doing them............. :shoothead:
