Yeah, he can't seem to kick that creapin' crud he's got. But he's a trooper when it comes to customer service and great business ethics. Hope ya feel better Jeff.................
Just thought I'd ask, I'd be gettin' more mods myself to compensate . But then again depending on what he considered trail riding, that would make a bike with more power harder to ride on trails.........
Sounds like an air leak. You may also take that ether and when you get it started spray it around the intake, base of the cylender's, tops of the carbs (you'd be surprised about how many people put the caps back on and don't seat the caps right causing a leak). If the engine rev's up temporarily you found your leak. Also spray it around your spark plugs just to make sure there are no leaks there..........
Take the carbs off and clean them, which includes the bowls, main jets, pilots, slides, everything. But yes it sounds like your float is sticking on the one side.................
Believeit or not Mother's chrome polish will take it off. I had melted pants on my T-5's and at first I didn't think it was working then I noticed after rubbing, and rubbing, and rubbing in the same area a little bit came off. Then I thought well I just didn't polish it long enough to get it off, but I'll be damned if after rubbing in the same spot for a minute or two it does come off and they look really sweet again...........
Man, if we could just channel all this compassion and strong willed attitude towards the people who make all the decisions..................
I think deterence is the answer..................
If money is an issue, my wife has been runnin' dirt tires on her raptor for three years now and doing fine. She now wants sand fronts so thats next for her, but the dirt tires will work ok, not great, but ok..........
Yeah, I'm finding that it is cheaper to either find a really good sale on a new set, or buy a good set of used ones. They are right because they have to be charged with Nitrogen.......
Did you shoot it with clear after the Fusion, or no? I'm wondering if the durability and the gloss of the finish will look better than just the Fusion if this was done. Yours turned out good...............
Nice pic, I'm hoping to get a few things done and put my motor back in with all the rest of the goodies this winter and hit the sand in a few months. I'm Jones'en for the sand something fierce............
That is one Fugly ass tank. I do like the six gallon capacity though for long rides, but come to think of it I don't think I have ever seen an oversized tank that looked good on a shee.............. :yelrotflmao:
Painting quality come out when you take your time and do good prep work. If you try to rush through it or don't prep the surface good it will look like an eleven year old painted your ride............. :yelrotflmao:
Hey Red that was really cool of you to put your seeing eye dog in the picture with ya............ :yelrotflmao:
Seriously though, thats a trip about the light thing. Is it an altered visual spectrum or is it that you can't be subjected to sunlight in regards to your eyes.
As far as the wearing contacts while ridin'. I was told that that was not a good idea because if you get sand in your eyes, either by blowing wind or a friends roost, the fine grains could get between your contacts and your eye and scratch it...........
