Yeah, I used gecko's for a few years, just F@#$!ing around in the dunes and they were ok to start out with. You already have them, so just use them and have fun. When you get more money then step up to the sand stars, or pay for the hauler's.
I ponied up for the 421 cubby and had to step up to the brats. From slightly modded to cubs and from gecko's to brats, man this next sand trip is going to be interesting............... :woot:
If they are your bikes, as stated above keep an eye on them overheating. Without paddles the bike will over-rev rather quickly and if done continuously, the only bike you may have after the trip will be the one you are sittin' on.................
Have fun though...........
Yeah, Glamis is the mother ship of sand piles, and Dumont falls rather close behind. You might look at Silver Lake up by Michigan. I've never been there but its a hell-of-a-lot closer than Cali...............
Plus you have more fun ridin' your bike by yourself anyway. I would just get her her own bike, and if you are worried about her gettin' hurt get her a small bike............
Thats a cool find man. Just out of curiousity though unless they are under a different name, why isn't Glamis, Dumont or Sand Mountain NV on there?
How far is St. Anthony's from Reno Nevada.................?
Yeah, I'd really be hard pressed to name even my top ten. There is a lot of people who help out on here, Bigboy, Rippen, Walrat, Chase, FASTOYS, on and on and on..............
Well if you are really questioning it, take the whole front plastic off and run it a while to see if you are ok with it. Once you cut it they are gone and no turning back, but I think they look much better with them cut.............
Just take the fronts off and go for a couple of rides and see what you think............
You should be fine for now with your current setup............
I'm runnin' T-5's and I like them a lot, but if you start dragging more and add more mods you may want to go to Shearer's or CPI's.............
Yeah, thats what I want to do is um, back up the movies that I already have. The Nero is that a program that is free or do I have to purchase it and which decryption program do I need, and is that free to. I had a friend that used to get me copies of all the software to do this and he moved away, and my old computer died so I lost it all. I'm trying to get all the programs to rip DVD's...........
Yeah, that elevation site pretty sweet. Your compression sounds pretty good with 20cc domes, but the 170-190 seems really high for just a dome mod. But hey if that is what it is a lot of guys would love to have that kind of compression off of just dome mods............
For $1400 bucks, I'd call Jeff at FAST and see what he can do for ya. Two reasons, first you can trust him and second he'll get you anything you need to mod your bike further. Plus if you do have questions, he'll bend over backwards to help you, and did I mention you could trust him.............
Those are both really good fuels. You may also try a local fuel supply company that sells fuel to other stations. I have a CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) here and they are usually pretty good with their prices. You may also try a local speed shop.............
Damn, you can tell that by that picture. Apparently your eyes must be better than mine, because I can only make out a shiny chrome thingy with a greenish top.............. :yelrotflmao:
Yeah, there were a lot of people ridin' different quads down the streets, but I heard the sweet sound of a shee and saw a really nice looking white shee cruisin' the street. Just thought I would see if the person was a member, and let 'em know how small the world is...............
Funny you should mention the Natalie Holloway girl, apparently we went to the Carlos and Charlies that she disappeared from. It was a pretty cool place, we really liked the island atmosphere............
