    Clutch Perch

I bought the black sunline perch from Nacs racing a couple of weeks ago so I know they have them. Hope this helps Mark
  5. Nice work man, check out some of my buddies work at www.excesspaint.com he is also very talented.
  6. Remove the left carb and pop out the clutch acuator ,so you can see if the end of the rod is mushroomed. If the clutch acuator will not come out the rod is welded to the acuator, you will then have to pry it out with a big screwdriver or small prybar.Once it is removed you can see the problem. You can either split the cases or you can get a diamond tip dremmel bit and grind the mushroomed part of the rod away.I used a magnet thru the hole on the clutch basket side to turn the clutch rod as needed while dremmling .Also the magnet will retreive any filings dropped from grinding. Once the rod is free of burrs it will easily slide out with the magnet.I had to do this on my sons bike about a month ago the dremmling part went pretty easy once I got the right bit. Change the oil after the first ride. Good Luck Mark

    Stock axle

Need a good straight stock axle. Also could use the lock nuts
  10. About how much are you looking to get for the axle?
  11. How much for tires and rims?
  12. Thats a hell of a deal Bump
  13. Unhook the clutch cable from the lever, take a ziplock bag, punch a very small hole in one of the corners of the bag, slide the cable into the hole so that the cable is about 1/4" into the bag , then wrap electrical tape or tape of choice around the bag and down the cable housing to keep oil from leaking out of the ziplock.Prop the cable up and put some oil or trans fluid { I use tri-flow } into the bag within a few mins. the oil will be coming out the bottom of the clutch cable and you have a lubed cable........................
  14. You're right the socalled HD springs from EBC suck ass.The Hd springs I got from EBC didn't look or feel any different than the stockers, but with the Barnett HD springs I could see the difference in the physical appearance of the spring it is longer and alot stiffer than the stockers and you know it when you try to start the clutch bolts with Hd springs on them.I do run an easy pull clutch perch on my sons banshee and it makes a big difference.
  15. 1. Don't let your friends/relatives ride your banshee 2. If you fuck up and let a non banshee owner ride your shit don't let them get out of your sight. 3. If the fuck head takes off out of your sight and something like a fouled plug happens or they accidentally hit the off switch tell them not to pull start your shee. 4. If the shee don't start, don't let the motherfucker pull the shee back to the truck with the clutch pulled in, all the fucking way back back to the truck like 7 miles down the beach with the fuckin clutch pulled in.Said after he couldn't pull start it he just kept the clutch pulled in for roughly 7 miles instead of stopping and trying to find neutral. Mind you, not just the ball was welded to the rod ,the adjuster screw was welded to the ball which was welded to the rod and the rod was welded to the clutch actuator arm.Luckily I did not have to split the cases but it took about 2 hrs of dremmling down thru the hole where the clutch actuator arm goes. Its the shee i bought for my son and he is as mad at me as I am at my fuckin friend.

  21. The noss head sits higher than the stocker so you will have some of the tube showing, but the noss head, tube is longer than the stock one so you still have enough to clamp on to. As for the clutch bolts, I broke one a few years ago and I have not torqued any since. Just snug them lightly with a ratchet and you will be good to go.
  22. They are pro wedge II, also check into maxxis 4-snows.
  23. Line the +4 mark on the stator plate with the split where the upper and lower case join
