    Coil

ill take it, my coil is fried - Open on secondary Whats your paypal? Eric
  2. I would definately send them to K&T, or Jeff at F.A.S.T (member on here, does some amazing port work i hear). If you have the money, get some cubs. Eric
  3. Dont look like it..
  4. I have a bike laying around with fmfs on them, sounds like a damn jet ski, i would never own those things :shoothead: Good choice in changing, until youve heard drag pipes t5s arn't loud at all  Eric
  5. No you dont have to have any crank work done or any other cylinder work done. Although if i had it tore down i would go fresh on it (Honing if you dont need a bore, new pistons/rings) Who is doing your porting?? Never ran tr6s but i hear they arnt good for porting, and they are so tiny anyways EDIT: They will have to hone after the port job anyways to clean up the edges Eric
  6. What year is the cdi/coil?

    Coil

Just lookin for a coil, one that actually works ... i think mine has takin a shit on me - if this doesnt fix it ill need a cdi next Eric
  8. what kind of problems have you been having?? Eric
  9. ya, make sure you tightened down the acorn nuts in sequence - 122 is normal if your running a stock head and about to need some new rings - take that head off and double check. Eric
  10. That sounds better, I donno how you were getting 135 without any throttle although.. Id get a better comp gauge, my cheapy Checker Auto gauge read the same as my buddys craftsman  Any way you put it, if its installed right and before your stock head wasn't milled (more compression like your cool head) then somethin else is wrong. Compession is a good base to start off of.
  11. ditto, Dave makes the nicest head around but you wont get any more performance out of putting one on compared to what youve got now. You will need to put the stock studs back on your cylinders.. Eric
  12. Nice swap man, keep us updated with pics + vids. :woot: Eric
  13. 110-125 degrees? Somethings not right there my man, thats very cold for exhaust
  14. Havnt ever heard anything good about them, some of my buddys used them for a while but they all ended up using vforce.. Does that tell you something?? Eric
  15. more compression is not always good unless your wanting to rebuild your stock crank soon, you will notice a very big improvment over stock if you raise it although. I'm running 185 at 3000 ft, and 205 ( i recall) at sea level.. All on a stock crank, wont last long though.. Eric
  16. Sweet frame man, if you ever part it out let me know... Eric
  17. Sounds like a fuel problem to me, are you fuel lines clear to where you can see them? Or maybe a clogged jet - unlikely cause a banshee could run a one clyinder if it had to.. If its still smooth when you kick it over then i dont see that you did any damage. Why were you overheating in the first place?? Anything cause this? You have to work backwards, or we cant help you out. Eric
  18. ahhhh whatd you do to my bike? lmao :woot:
  19. http://www.r-central.net/ I would never own a honda
  20. kiels a great guy, tries to help every BHQ member he can
  21. With my experience the full fenders dont stop shit, i have mine cut and wouldnt ride it any other way  . as for the rears i dont have any there either, they are race cut altho and laying in my shop. Eric
  22. Trinity does a nice Strong port job on stock cylinders, if thats what your looking for. But if i were to do it over again id go K&T or F.A.S.T. - Trinity is just falling behind these days... Eric
  23. yes paint fills it in, especially PC, i have a vin number but my PC is so thick you wouldnt ever know its there  Eric
  24. check stator, that sounds like your problem... Eric
